This blue "recycling" bin belongs to the farm opposite. This bin is for recyclable materials such tins, cans, paper, cardboard & plastics but not glass. There is also a green bin for household waste. The collections alternate, one week blue the next week green. The company send a handy text reminder the evening before for which bin to leave out as the lorry comes at 7am on the dot HFF!
This is a different shot from the previous one, which was a second or two before. I have chosen to upload this one in monochrome. I think street photography suits this genre. What do you think?
Again a market porter pushes his bin past the famous Market Porter pub which featured in the Harry Potter film, The Prisoner of Azkaban"
Wednesday is bin day in this part of London; the day when the Council come and collect our garbage.
We are given five bins to put out on the pavement outside our houses: the large grey bin for general waste; a small green bin for food waste; a blue bag for plastics and metal; and a green box for paper and glass. Plus another green or brown bag for garden waste, if required. So it gets quite crowed on the pavements on Wednesdays!
Taken down one of the streets near our home with an Auto-Takumar 35/2.3 and inverted front element.
** Thanks to everyone who viewed, faved and commented on this shot. I really appreciate this. **
Three ladybirds ('Bishy-Barnabees') looking for somewhere safe and weatherproof.. unfortunately, it's under the lid of our (spit) wheelie bin.
Will move them if they're still there come bin day..
Natürlich weiß ich genau, wer ich bin! :-)

These are wood pallets we got from a local business to use for our compost bins. The Rhubarb is growing on the left side and a volunteer Delicata Squash is growing in front of the bin.
Edit: Moving this photo back up to keep it in the correct timeline.
An abandoned ore bin in the Silurian Hills of the California desert.
Loved this, how the public have started to create there own art outside of the Konstmuseum by sticking their entry stickers all over the rubbish bin outside.
Db cargo`s 66066 "Geoff Spencer" passes Beningbrough with a late running 6M16 the 05.40 Wilton to Knowsley empty bins 07.03.2023.
So, die fahrt ist geschafft. Jetzt muss ich im Urlaub nur noch ankommen.

Ibises are a group of long-legged wading birds in the family Threskiornithidae, that inhabit wetlands, forests and plains. Ibises usually feed as a group, probing mud for food items, usually crustaceans. It is widespread across much of Australia. It has a predominantly white plumage with a bare, black head, long down curved bill and black legs. They are monogamous and highly territorial while nesting and feeding. Most nest in trees, often with spoonbills or herons. Due to its increasing presence in the urban environment and its habit of rummaging in garbage, the species has acquired a variety of colloquial names such as tip turkey; and bin chicken, and in recent years has become an icon of popular culture, being regarded with passion, wit, and, in equal measure, affection and disgust. 40534
