and a tree ...

Out for a drive I spotted this old Wood Grain Storage Bin, you don't see to many of these any more and the ones you do see generaly aren't used for their original use.

Slid this one a bit trying to get a bit of an "Vintage" look.

An attempt at over-processing a picture - on purpose.

Another shot of bins full awaiting the arrival of the bin men, and crushing into the dustcart.

Yup, these are called dump bins. ;-) Always makes me smile whenever someone says it at work, nearly as much as when they say "floor flaps".

Missouri farm along highway 91 in Stoddard County Missouri. Why so many grain bins? Managing their harvest may be the most complicated aspect of running a fam today. Do you sell at harvest when prices or low, to you store it at a grain elevator, or do you store it yourself and decide when is the best time to sell. These are difficult questions and could easily make or break a farming operation.

This blue "recycling" bin belongs to the farm opposite. This bin is for recyclable materials such tins, cans, paper, cardboard & plastics but not glass. There is also a green bin for household waste. The collections alternate, one week blue the next week green. The company send a handy text reminder the evening before for which bin to leave out as the lorry comes at 7am on the dot HFF!

This is a different shot from the previous one, which was a second or two before. I have chosen to upload this one in monochrome. I think street photography suits this genre. What do you think?

Natürlich weiß ich genau, wer ich bin! :-)
