Last update of 2018, so time for a collage of the best pics that I've posted over the last year.
There have been some pretty tough times for me in my real world in the last year, but thankfully things are starting to look up. My girl side is always a welcome distraction, and although I don't dress up as much as I used to, I still love having a girly day when I can.
What really has rejuvenated my girl side was starting to go out again after giving it a miss for over a year. A couple of fabulous nights out to BNO and a welcome return to Torture Garden have been truly amazing, and it's been great to catch up with so many old friends and making some lovely new friends on the way too.
Thank you again to everyone that leaves comments or favourites my pics, it really is appreciated :)
I'm really looking forward to 2019, and wishing you all a Happy New Year.

Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks is slipping towards the sun and there is only another two weeks or so to have a chance of good captures. The sky was pretty clear last night, although still with contrails and cirrus streaks. The so-called 'horned' tail can be discerned. This was a small stack of 12 frames, at 800 ISO and 40 seconds at 500mm.
It was 6:15am on the 25th of December, and Mom and Dad were still in bed. But little Benny had heard a funny sound downstairs, and was creeping toward it. When he reached the living room, one of the boxes had its lid partly open. Rushing to it, little Benny saw that it was a small puppy! To his hearts delight, the box was addressed to him. Best Christmas ever!

The word "禧" in Chinese culture means happiness. Usually people string this up with red cord to make best wishes for the ones they care and love :)

These are 2 of my best full, long skirts for the cooler months. One is made from a heavy denim, ghe other a heavy PVC like material. Both are magnificent to wear :-)
She just won her award, She's Best Dressed at the red carpet... what more can an actress want?

Never thought in a million years i would say my best look so far this year would involve me wearing trousers! what is that all about????
I don't know something about this not only looked right but felt right i think the blouse works nicely but these trousers have so many options and change my look on a daily basis just by changing my blouse. OMG i am beginning to think like a woman NOOOOOOOO :-) Its pretty much the norm in all truth.
Well sat here in my nightie trying to decide what to wear. I have a plan but it might be a tad short for going out but we will see.

Views from inside Hearn. When they started demolishing this place internally, a bunch of these glass window blocks were knocked out. It's the best place to relax and actually has fresh air other than the roof.
This is the period in Toronto when everything started drastically changing and when so many places were empty or being gutted and demolished. There were so many places here to check out that people from all over the world were always coming here and you could meet up with them. It was nice! Now you need to go elsewhere to see great locations like Hearn.
