i found this new incredibly amazing spot to take pictures today, thanks to my boyfriend.
we spent the night watching willy wonka and the chocolate factory ( the ORIGINAL one ) and went to the lake today and he showed me this spot afterwards. i tripped walking up the hill to get there and i freaked out walking up the staircase- cause it was REALLY scary...but it was totally worth it. there was graffiti everywhere. but of course my battery died right when got there, sooo this is all i have for now

today was the best. ever.
I've been mining the archives while lying low because of feeling shitty, happens every January, arrgh ... and found this image taken with my son's fish eye lens while out walking after dark. I think this restaurant has been in Tsawwassen a long time, I remember going with my son when he was younger, he liked the Smorgasbord, especially the deep fried prawns, now I avoid food that's deep fried, always suffer afterwards, and "all you can eat" is also not enticing anymore, gluttony is not as enjoyable as it once was :)
I'm going to do the 30 Day Letter Challenge thing and so the first day is write a letter to your best friend- her goes nothing:
Dear Best Friend,
Thanks for being there for me ALL THE TIME. I love you for actually listening to what a I say and helping me when I need it. I love you for dealing with me even though I have many flaws. I love you for truly caring about me and never being dishonest with me. Without you i'd have nothing to look forward to and my life would be tedious and dull. I wish I could actually put into better words how I feel about you, but for now this will have to do :) Thanks again bestie <3

*Picuture- i reaaallly want red hair or red streaks. my mom has some dark red streaks that you can mostly see in the light but i want either red streaks or full on red hair. haha i know sounds crazy but i think it's adorable :)

This Blythe doll is Blue Rabbit, posing for the theme “Nest” in the Blythe a Day group on Flickr. My daughter painted the nest in the center. I made the dress. The headband came to me as part of a craft swap.

An outfit I wore recently to church. I sat right in the front pew. Hope I didn't distract the pastor too much! LOL!

Lodger and Roger in the darkest depths of my bedroom. These two boys do everything together and really are lifelong best buddies.
Roger (left) and Lodger (right) decided to move in permanently with me uninvited in 2015 after being locally abandoned and it took me 4 years to establish (with help from a tip off) who was responsible and why.
Roger is a special needs cat and is one of the reasons why he was abandoned by his previous so called owner and the reason why he's not featured too much in my flickr photostream in the intervening years. Roger in particular needs special daily care like no other cat I've ever come across.
I've no idea how old Lodger is but I suspect he's well into his mid to late teens or even beyond.
Roger and Lodger have been completely safe in their new forever home with me since 2015. They don't need to worry about a thing anymore.
