I found these best of friends at a farm in Pennsylvania not long ago. The cat and pig were just hanging out in the pig pen.
In de zomervakantie van 2024 gingen Mathijs en ik samen een weekje naar de Oberpfalz in Duitsland. Door dit gebied heen lopen nog best veel leuke diesellijnen. Iets wat wij erg leuk vinden. Zeker ook omdat er veel mooi en ook oud materieel rijdt. Sinds de start van de nieuwe dienstregeling van 2024 is de RE2 tussen München en Hof naar DB gegaan. Tot eind 2023 reed Alex ook wel bekend als die Länderbahn de RE2. DB zet uitsluitend de Baureihe 218 met Doppelstockwagen in op de RE2. Wanneer er te weinig 218's beschikbaar zijn door problemen wordt er beroep gedaan op dieseltreinstellen van de serie 612. Gelukkig was dit begin augustus niet het geval en reden alle omlopen met 218's. Zaterdag 3 augustus 2024 begon in de Oberpfalz erg zonnig. Eind van de ochtend trok het dicht en waren er best flinke regenbuien op komst. Tijd voor wat anders. We besloten om even naar een groot overdekt winkelcentrum te gaan. Toen we naar het vakantiehuisje wilden gaan, begon de lucht toch weer open te trekken. Er werd iets om gereden en een tussenstop gemaakt bij het station van Regenstauf. We zouden de Alex even op de foto zetten. Nadat de RE 40 met 612 vertrokken was, zou het tijd zijn voor de Alex. Opeens kwam er in plaats van de Alex een 218 van DB de bocht om. Mooi meegenomen! De trein had een vertraging van ruim een uur, vanwege een storing. Zo was een plaat van een 218 op Regenstauf ook in de pocket. Op dit station komen maar weinig fotografen. Zelf vind ik het een leuke plek met het mooie, oude stationsgebouw. En de doorgaande treinen naar Regensburg pakken altijd het middelste spoor, waardoor het ook een stuk mooier is.

Christmas is coming!!
This is my favorite time of the year, end ot the year, you can think in all the good things you have been through this year, have a really good time with family, and lots of other things.
This was inspired by one of the most incredible photographers ever who is ending his 365 today.. and thats why im making this photo for him in a certain way haha.
He is Boy_Wonder.
His photos are just perfect for me, those are of the best photos I have ever seen.
Today I changed my way to edit, I thought that I wasnt doing well at it, not using things that I thought I would never use because I didnt knew how to use them, until today I decided to try to use them for my best :)

Day 126
I was absolutely amazed when I visited the Kern County Fair and saw one of my photos won best in show. I never expected I could win the best in show I just hoped to win any award. Last year I entered four photos all of which won awards. Last year I won a first place with best in division, a second place, and two third place awards. This year I got two first places, a second, a third, and an honorable mention. I was so excited by the wins I just had to share with everyone. This has inspired me to keep reaching higher with my photography, to keep striving to get better and enter more contests. I want to thank everyone that views my photos it makes me want to keep shooting more and sharing my work.
