Last week doing banking business.

I just put up a gallery of my trip to Homer, Alaska. There are eagles of course, as well as some sea otters, a moose image and some scenics. As always, I'm more than happy to share any details of the trip and encourage you photographers and nature lovers out there to put this place on your list of places to go. Homer is, in a way, like Key West. Interesting, artsy people live there and the place is beyond beautiful, especially in the winter.

Here's the link to my web gallery: mykey.smugmug.com/Galleries/Homer-Eagle-Trip/

Thanks, Mike

Probably my favorite harrier flight frame I've taken to date -- I was thrilled to get the fanned tail. Taken with a D500 at 700mm 1/3200 f/5.6 and ISO 2,500.

The turtles at Amadee Island (30 minutes from Noumea by fast catamaran) are amazing. There are lots of sea grass beds <1m of water and calm so snorkelling is easy and the turtles are plentiful!

This one was checking me out using one fin to turn against the sand.

Great fun! Planning to go back there at Christmas :-)
