Jagged!!! We have had a MIGHTY windstorm- 126 kph clocked at Mt Hope Airport nearby!!! As result, LITTER is EVERYWHERE!! Some of the Litter is WHOLE TREES but this litter is the shattered ends of last year's Peony stalks in our garden. Peony is a VERY woody stemmed plant when the stems are dry. Our peonies were bent over by the strong wind but not actually broken. Lazy as ever, I decided to BREAK off the old stems and chuck them into the compost!!!!! BADD plan- with no gloves on and no clippers! Nasty cuts and MUCH blood later, I did manage to get the old stalks broken and chucked into the compost. Long story but this is MY offering to Macro Mondays' theme- Jagged- for this week. HMM

Omfg , how i miss my childhood :( and wtf is goin' on ? downloaded some stuffs for facebook for a long time and then bang! shiet ... LOL #nowplaying You'll be in my heart . Awww love " i will be there , dont you cry " . Its also available in my status now . LOL . Ohhh , wait test tmrw , but again who cares LOL its chemistry . And of course , i'm not " chemist ", on the contray , i'm bad at ittt toootally badd !

El bergantin escuela sueco Falken fué botado en el 1877, durante la época en que GW Svensson fuera jefe del Departamento de Ingeniería de Karlskrona (CIDK). Fué una construcción compuesta, o sea con tablas de madera sobre un armazón (bastidor) de hierro. El Falken fue el primer barco que fue puesto en gradas en Östra Bädden (Grada Oeste) en el edificio del Taller Grande en el Astillero Naval en Karlskrona. En un principio fue pintado negro con una raya Nelson. En el año 1899 fue pintado blanco como el resto de los veleros de la Armada.
En Inglaterra en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, la madera de teca que se importaba empezó a ser demasiado cara para ser utilizada como material para la construcción de barcos, y la madera de roble de dimensiones adecuadas era difícil de obtener. Por esa razón los constructores de barcos tenían que encontrar nuevos caminos, por lo que las armazones de los buques comenzaron a hacerse de hierro mientras que se mantenía la estructura del casco y la quilla de madera. Durante las décadas de 1850 y 1860 la construcción compuesta fue la más utilizada en la construcción de barcos grandes. Estas construcciones tenían la ventaja de que los barcos eran más fuertes, demandaban menos mantenimiento y tenían una vida larga. Sin mayores investigaciones no se podrá decir si eran los altos precios de la madera o las otras ventajas del método que determinó que el bergantín Falken y luego el velero Najaden fueron construidos como barcos compuestos. Friluftsområde Ålgård och Grindsbyvattnet
Platsen har tillgänglighetsanpassats så att det exempelvis går att ta sig fram med rullstol.
Anpassningen vid Ålgård är en del i EU-projektet Tillgängligt friluftsliv som är ett Interreg-projekt. Platser har gjorts tillgängliga från Oslofjorden ända ner till Orust.

On christmas morning me and my sister took a long walk in the snow covered woods and stumbled upon this beautiful snow covered field :) I'm so thankful for my sister for posing my photos, helping out and freezing in the snow for me! I was getting little tired of always taking selfportraits!
I took so many photos while at my grandparent's place and I can't wait to share them with you guys!

This picture was taken shortly after we took in "Socky" the ferret. He was baddly abused . He was thin dehydrated, furless broken tail, that looked like it had been singed. His teeth are discolored, from lack of proper nutrition. When he tried to walk, he was so week he'd swagger like a drucken sailer

I did another "eeny-meeny-miny-mo" (according to Virginia :)))) from my folder & wa la! Here comes another super duper old shot! Thank goodness this one is not as dull as the one yesteday & honestly i need a lot of colours in my life right at this moment. i think i'm going blue-black soon from all the intensive brain storming i've been doing at work. Still waiting for the good days to come.. yes me whinge whinge whinge yet again.. all day long haha!. Anyway, back to the shot, this hdr was lightly tonemapped & the post processing was done within 10 mins as far as i recalled. Hope this shot brings some vibrant colours to you right now :D

@Fotosöndag: Temat ”I vått och torrt” kunde inte vara mer passande i en vecka som man firar bröllopsdag. Det var bäddat för att bli en romantisk bild, kanske på den vackra bukett blommor jag fick, eller något annat festligt. Men sedan fick jag syn på en tandkrämstub och fantasin skenade iväg. Allvarligt – vem har hört talas om folktandkräm!? Var kommer den ifrån? Har den delats ut i en kampanj ”mer tandkräm åt folket?” Jag vill inte bli alltför politisk på veckans så fina tema, men folktandkräm måste vara ett påfund som bara kan uppstå i den socialdemokratiskt präglade välfärdsstat som Sverige är. Det känns som om det finns både ett uppfostrande pekfinger och en medmänsklig omtanke bakom det. Någon som bryr sig., folktandkräm i vått och torrt.
Taken at ExpediteExpo, a trade event focusing exclusively on the expedited trucking industry and held at the Roberts Convention Center. Roberts is the "R" in R&L Carriers, a very large trucking company located on I-71 in South central Ohio near Wilmington. The show is no longer held there and has changed it's name. For a few years, they had a show of antique trucks on the parking lot of the center.
I'm guessing at the year of this truck as they didn't change much for many years. Actually, I'm glad they didn't change much as I love this particular style.
The sign on the door says:
"Badd- ass ladies don't drive Mercedes"
