Pleasantly surprised last night when I looked out the window and saw the snow falling. Too beautiful to pass up a short walk through the neighborhood.

At the central station of Utrecht I was waiting at a burger king. While waiting I struck upon this guy, with his unique style backpack.
Painted today with some mates, it was cool, tried out something different. Started to get really dark when we nearly finished, it was hard to see, outline is messy.
Thanks for all favs and comments!

During World Heritage day in Bath, there was a Roman encampment at the Royal Crescent where we could see how the romans lived, fought and conquer, battle after battle to achieve one of the World's greatest Empires.
This one was taken when the legion was displaying the way the army would travel and what would they carry with them. These were called the Marius backpack.
Hope you enjoy it! ;)
Had a lovely day shooting with my little cousin last week! Went to Wicken Fen which is so cute! Must return soon :)

Veterans Day, the Army & Marines calls them rucksacks. The Navy calls them seabags. The Air force calls them Louis Vuitton. 8x5 watercolor book.
Today leaning against and guarding tools, but used before in the many escapades of the boring reality of my adolescence.

ROXY*: "Sister ... ? Your BACKPACK is EMPTY !? ... WHERE is your homework ???!!"
IVIS: "Um ... do you think the teacher will believe 'My dog ate my homework' ?? "
ROXY: "Well, probably as much as she will believe 'My WUBBA ate MY homework !!"

**Roxy is really a little girl we got in the Summer of 2021 (!) ... to "customize". Then, we started calling her ROXY ... and she's still around ... no customizing going on around here lately!

My friends Ken and Kelsie are embarking on their long planned backpacking trip (13 days) around Mount Rainier. There is still a fair amount of snow in places, especially at Panhandle Gap. They have been working hard for the past four months or so in getting their legs strong. They will not put themselves in harms way for any reason, so I am comfortable in knowing that this will be a good trip for them. With 22,000 feet of elevation gain along this iconic 93 mile trail, I am fairly certain that there will be some sore legs when they are done.
Kelsie is taking along eight batteries for her camera, as she will be fully documenting this grand adventure!
Safe trip and have fun my friends!
