What could I say ? The landscape speaks for itself. When crowds are stacked in Zadar or Split, this place is almost empty. a some people in the port, hike 30min and you'll be on your own. Sounds like the older I get the less I understand people.
Anyway, you want Etretat, Moher ? I rise you Telasica Nature Park.
Featuring crystal clear water, salted water lake and sea urchins. A freaking lot of sea urchins.
Little news ! I've started an IG account, @backpacking_bear feel free to take a look !

During World Heritage day in Bath, there was a Roman encampment at the Royal Crescent where we could see how the romans lived, fought and conquer, battle after battle to achieve one of the World's greatest Empires.
This one was taken when the legion was displaying the way the army would travel and what would they carry with them. These were called the Marius backpack.
Hope you enjoy it! ;)
Had a lovely day shooting with my little cousin last week! Went to Wicken Fen which is so cute! Must return soon :)

Veterans Day, the Army & Marines calls them rucksacks. The Navy calls them seabags. The Air force calls them Louis Vuitton. 8x5 watercolor book.
Today leaning against and guarding tools, but used before in the many escapades of the boring reality of my adolescence.
This was across from the hotel I stayed in the day i walked out.
Looking back towards the wonderful wilderness i has just left
When we were discussing options for this year's autumn hiking adventure, it almost seemed like there was nothing left in northern Scandinavia that we all still wanted to explore. However, after some discussions, we realized that Finnish Lapland might be an interesting and convenient location for our regular autumn outdoor pursuits.
After conducting some research and planning, we narrowed our focus to Finland's northwest, bordering Sweden and Norway. More specifically, we honed in on the Käsivarsi Wilderness Area, which happens to be the second-largest wilderness area in Finland.
-----
Käsivarsi is somewhat atypical for Finland due to its higher elevation (Finland's highest peak, Halti (1,324m), is located in its northern tip), rugged terrain, and limited wooded areas. This combination sounded particularly attractive to us because it meant we would hike across various types of landscapes, both on and off marked trails.
Our itinerary was as follows: Kilpisjärvi/Saana mountain -> Tshahkaljärvi lake -> Siktagurajohka river -> Meekonjärvi lake including trip to Pitsusköngäs waterfall -> Porojärvi lake including ascent of Saivaara cliff -> Guhturgurajávri/Termisjärvi lakes -> Ailakkajärvi lake -> Kilpisjärvi.
My personal fave! I love the size and overall color scheme! Also, took me 4 days to build it. So Ye. And as always: PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FAVE!!

ROXY*: "Sister ... ? Your BACKPACK is EMPTY !? ... WHERE is your homework ???!!"
IVIS: "Um ... do you think the teacher will believe 'My dog ate my homework' ?? "
ROXY: "Well, probably as much as she will believe 'My WUBBA ate MY homework !!"

**Roxy is really a little girl we got in the Summer of 2021 (!) ... to "customize". Then, we started calling her ROXY ... and she's still around ... no customizing going on around here lately!

Couldn't finish today's concept because of the weather. I got to set up everything, tripod on camera, got dressed for the part and all that, but when i started shooting, suddenly it started pouring. I had to quickly stash all my gear into my backpack for safe keeping. Of course, I got soaked and it was freezing, nevertheless got to explore and snap some nature photos for future concepts.
Here's a photo I took while hiking towards the location at El Yunque Natural Rainforest.
