then i went to ackers pit was taking photo's of big man chasing ducks and then i was ready to leave when i saw a heron land so i got my camera out and walked round then at the end where the concrete bridge is there were 3 man ducks in the reeds so i went to have a look and came across a mum duck and 11 ducklings.

Hayatla büsbütün kopuyor bağı,

Kendini yokluğa saldıda gitti

Kirpikler kapandı açılmaz gözü.

Tek tek vedâlaşıp ağlattı bizi,

Herkesten helallık aldıda gitti

Uzanmış yatağa boylu boyunca.

Akın akın geldi dostlar duyunca.

BABA NAGPAL SANT

Chhatarpur Temple (Officially: Shri Aadya Katyayani Shakti Peetham) is located in a down town area in south of Delhi - Chhatarpur. This is the second largest temple complex in India, and is dedicated to Goddess, Katyayani. It is located at Chhatarpur, on the southwestern outskirts of the city of Delhi and is just 4 km (2.5 mi) from Qutub Minar, off Mehrauli-Gurgaon road.

The temple was established in 1974, by Baba Sant Nagpal ji, who died in 1998. His samadhi shrine lies in the premises of the Shiv-Gauri Nageshwar Mandir within the temple complex.

This temple was considered as the biggest temple in India and second largest in the world, before the Akshardham Temple was created in 2005 in Delhi. This temple is totally constructed from marble and on all the facets there is jaali (perforated stone or latticed screen) work. It can be classified a vessara style of architecture

The entire temple complex spread over 60 acres (24.3 ha), has over 20 small and large temples divided in three different complexes. The main deity in the temple is Goddess Katyayani, a part of Navadurga, the nine forms of Hindu goddess Durga or Shakti, worshipped during the Navratri celebrations.

A side shrine within the main temple houses a shrine of Goddess Katyayani (Durga), which opens only during the bi-annual Navratri season, when thousands of people throng the premises for darshan. One nearby room has been made as living room with tables and chairs made in silver, and another regarded as the Shayan Kaksha (Bed Room), where a bed, dressing table and table are carved in silver. This shrine opens on a large satsang or prayer hall, where religious discourses and bhajans, (religious songs) are held. Just at the entrance to the main temple, stand an old tree, where devotees tie holy threads for wish fulfillment.[5] Another shrine of Goddess Durga is open to devotees morning to evening, it lies above the shrines dedicated to Radha Krishna, and Lord Ganesh.

Apart from this the complex also has other temples dedicated to Lord Rama, Lord Ganesha and Lord Shiva. The temples have been built in both South and North Indian style of temple architecture. Apart From This The Complex Also×

My dearest Nayantara,

This is your father, your Baba. He sleeps like a baby, gets upset like a five year old, and pretends to be forty. He starts shaking when your heart beat goes up and down, he falls weak when he tries to prepare himself for the worse. He is kind, funny, loving, confused, stubborn, yours.

Your Baba gets mad when he sweats in the summer heat, soaks in the monsoon showers and shivers in the winter breeze. He gets mad when dust particles enter his nose, dandruff makes his hair itchy, and his own beard makes him look like a homeless man. And in spite of however mad he gets, he still drives around your mother in his red Ferrari, against the odd of seasons, against the indomitable dust particles, against mankind. He showers, shaves and cleans his feet, and desperately tries to wake up with your mother to jog and look fit for you.

Your Baba loves everything hyper, everything curious, everything witty. He loves picking out Nayantara saplings for you, loves watching your mother draw you, loves imagining you jump up and down. Your Baba loves your mother, and he loves you.

I have so many stories about your Baba to tell you. About the time he tried to eat scorpions in the streets of Beijing, or the time he lit up the entire house with fairy lights. I'm afraid you will love him more than me because he will spoil you completely, and I will (happily) let it happen.

Look, your Baba has a tree sprouting out of his head. I know the secret behind it, don't you?

Love,

Maa

I was walking down that road, to the place that was my home,

And the memories of a life go on forever,

Here's the village, here's the sea and here's the place where it began,

And then I listen for those footsteps, coming down the hall,

A father to his young boy, who was hurting from a fall,

You must have heard me crying, you must have dried my tears,

But you know, I just can't remember, just can't remember,

The son and the father, the son and the father;

Now I'm walking with my boy through the place that is our home,

And the memories of his life are growing forever,

And I'm looking through his eyes at all the wonders of the world,

Then hand in hand we will make this journey together,

And we will talk of men and pirates, and heroes in the dark,

I will tell him of the hungers and the mysteries of the heart,

And I will always hear you crying, I will always dry your tears;

And I pray you'll always remember, always forever,

The son and the father, the son and the father,

The son and the father, the son and the father.

New Delhi: Baba Ramdev's threat of an indefinite hunger strike has left the government jittery. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his Cabinet colleagues got into a huddle on Wednesday to try and resolve the crisis.

So what is it about Baba Ramdev that makes him seem so influential, not just among politicians and celebrities, but also the aam aadmi.

He cracks jokes, recounts stories and yes he also teaches yoga to politicians, to Bollywood and even to British Lawmakers. Ramkishan Yadav, now better known as Baba Ramdev, is the new age guru.

"He is the only man in India today who thinks of the nation," said a follower.

He zips across India, often in a private jet, like he did on Wednesday when some of India's most powerful ministers queued up to meet him at the Delhi airport. And he is now using his anti-black money stand as his latest calling card.

He is 46 years old, young by Indian political standards and has a rather mysterious background. Son of a farmer in Narnaul district of Haryana, he began going to a gurukul at the age of four. He says as a child he suffered from paralysis and that it was Yoga that cured him.

His first move to prominence came in 2003, when spiritual channel Aastha TV began featuring him in its daily morning yoga slot. Within years, he had gathered a cult following.

With rapid popularity came controversies. In 2006, CPM politburo member Brinda Karat alleged that the medicine made at his ashram had bone powder. Lab tests found the claim unfounded. Ramdev's medicine only became more popular. He opposed homosexuality, called it a disease and openly campaigned against aerated drinks.

No one knows Baba Ramdev's net worth but speculations have often pegged it to several hundred crores.

The celebrity guru is linked to an impressive Rs 1000-plus crore empire of yoga centres, hospitals and spas across the world in less than 15 years.

It is said that he is planning a Rs 100-crore dream project, Patanjali Yog Peeth at Bahadrabad, a sort of a Yoga University, about 20km from Haridwar.

Sale of Ramdev's ayurvedic medicines is worth Rs 300 crores a year; sale of his books and CDs fetch Rs 25 to 30 crore.

In 2011, Ramdev has acquired an unprecedented position - a powerful civil society voice who has the government worried.

Kashmiri Baba Rafaee

One of my oldest Rafaee contact in Mumbai last 25 years is Kashmiri Baba .

He is meticulously silent his silence is metaphoric he does not utter a word does not take part in general conversations

But he likes me from the first time I met him as I used to give him money for tea and snacks .

He has the food that is cooked on the Dhuni fire made of wood no kerosene.

The Dhuni food is divine you guys should try it once the chappatis all made by the rafaee chef called Bhandari .

The tea is unique it is made sugary syrupy adding dollops of butter ..all the meat vegetables tea are dontated by their muruds owners of shops businessmen at Mahim.

On the day of the sandal they do their body piercing acts .

In the evenings they would beg from shop to shop I accompanied them and ending up getting the most alms from women that I handed over to the Murshah .

Locals and kids called me #CanereealeyBaba

Back to Kashmiri Baba he has his roots in Kashmir but betrays no emotion for his homeland does not discuss his past ..I have never asked him I call myself a photojournalist but I shoot images but never ask pesky questions I also request permission before shooting new faces .The older rafaees all know me ..I was excommunicated by the Rafaee Murshad as a Bhandar did not like my attachment to them he tripped me deliberately my leg entered the Dhuni holy fire ..he told the Murshad I had desecrated the fire the Murshad without hearing my side asked me to leave the dhuni I returned after both Murshad and the Bhandari died it's another matter some Rafaees say they were punished by God for their meanness ..I don't believe it but now rogue rafaees who hate photographer s don't hassle me and it all changed further when I took vows of a Malang of the #Madarriyasilsila

Baba Vida (Bulgarian: Баба Вида) is a medieval castle in Vidin in northwestern Bulgaria and the town's primary landmark. It consists of two concentric curtain walls and about nine towers of which three are preserved to their full medieval height, including the original battlements, and is the only entirely preserved medieval castle in the country. Baba Vida is 39 metres (128 ft) above sea level.

Baba Vida served as part of Vidin's main defensive installation during the course of the Middle Ages and acted as the citadel of the most important fortress of northwestern Bulgaria. The Baba Vida stronghold withstood an eight-month-long siege by Byzantine forces led by Basil II. It was enlarged and modernized during the rule of tsar Ivan Stratsimir (1356-1396), as whose capital it served. Between 1365 and 1369, the castle was in Hungarian hands. Vidin was suddenly attacked by the forces of Louis I of Hungary, but it took several months to conquer Baba Vida. In 1369, Ivan Sratsimir managed to regain control of his capital, albeit having to remain under Hungarian overlordship.

In 1388, the Ottomans invaded Sratsimir's lands and forced him to become their vassal. In 1396, he joined an anti-Ottoman crusade led by the King of Hungary, Sigismund, placing his resources at the crusaders' disposal. The crusade ended in the disastrous Battle of Nicopolis at Nikopol, Bulgaria, with the Ottomans capturing most of Sratsimir's domains shortly thereafter, in 1397.

The castle played a role during the Ottoman rule of Bulgaria, serving as a weapon warehouse and a prison, also as residence for Osman Pazvantoğlu, and it has been no longer used for defensive purposes since the end of the 18th century.

Today, Baba Vida castle functions as a museum. Being a popular tourist attraction, the castle is being kept in repair. Thx to Wikipedia
