The beach at Babas Cove at Basilisa town, Dinagat province. This is the starting point for the trek to Lake Bababu - a trek along steep slopes, dense tropical forest and hilly ground over karst rocks. An exhausting hike for those who have been sitting at the office too long, it still is worth the effort. Plus you get to enjoy this pristine beach after the hike.

The nice northern and eastern slopes of Dovška Baba are seen from the Rožca saddle. They are great for tour skiing, but as they are on the Austrian side of the Karawanks ridge, the approaches are quite long.
Phyllidia babai is a species of sea slug, a dorid nudibranch, a shell-less marine gastropod mollusk in the family Phyllidiidae.
The specific name babai is in honor of the Japanese malacologist Kikutaro Baba. This nudibranch has a cream to light yellow coloured dorsum with white tubercles in the center of black rings and the mantle finely edged in yellow. The clavus of each rhinophore has 21 to 24 lamellae, and the rhinophoral pocket is trimmed in white. Its white-coloured, pointed, oral tentacles have lateral grooves, and they also are trimmed in yellow. The ventral surface is a pale cream colour. It's the highest summit in the strong northern side ridge, running from Kamnik & Savinja Alps backbone ridge towards Jezersko road pass. Crossing the whole ridge is quite demanding, only the normal ascent on Velika Baba is quite long, but a medium demanding hike up, with a short ferrata section. It comes from the right.
