As someone who lives near the CSX mainline, I have always wanted to see their office car special in action - and this has been doubly true since they gave the train a snazzy B&O-themed makeover. Like any business train, however, it has an erratic and unpredictable schedule, which - up until now - has unfortunately prevented me from tracking it down.
Yesterday, however, I finally got some actionable location intel on this gorgeous trainset, and successfully intercepted it as it passed through downtown Fredericksburg. I was worried that it would be too dark for decent photos by the time it arrived, but the sun stuck around just long enough to provide a lovely sunset as a backdrop.
