In the early 2000's Alton Towers started operating services to ferry their staff between local towns and cities and the Alton Towers Resort, initially using minibuses and hired vehicles. From 2006 onwards Alton Towers Transport expanded into running services for visitors to the resort as well, this saw a number of larger vehicles join the fleet. Wright Axcess-Floline bodied Scania L94UB T364JWA is one of three similiar vehicles that joined the fleet in March/April 2010, it is seen here departing Hanley bus station bound for Alton Towers, mid morning 08/04/2011.

Teatime rush hour sees First Leeds 61037 sitting on Hall Ings, Bradford at the start of an X11 journey to Leeds. This is a Wright Axcess Floline bodied Scania L94UB which actually spent the first couple of months of it's life with First Edinburgh.
First Berkshire's hideous John Nike Scania lives on, while other Scanias have been withdrawn.
While not tormenting me on route 51, it likes to appear on the Bracknell - Camberley route. It seems to be a semi-regular on the X94 Sunday service www.flickr.com/photos/17669268@N03/8712007688/, but this is the first time I've seen it do the main Monday - Saturday 194 service.

Dart SLF (Super Low Floor) - First Kelvin, 203 Service - Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station.
Wright Scania Axcess - First Greater Glasgow, X5 Service - Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station.
Showing the gradual fading of the Kelvin name into the First brand, the current First Glasgow company grew from a takeover of Strathclyde Buses and KCB Network, formerly Kelvin Central Buses - itself being formed post-deregulation from the breakup of Kelvin Scottish and Central Scottish, whilst also raking ground from other operators such as Eastern Scottish etc.
Both models are “Code 3” adaption or repaint, and are my own work.
Near side view - Dennis Dart SLF of First Greater Glasgow in Kelvin red.
Wright Scania Axcess of First Greater Glasgow in “Barbie” livery.
Both models presenting service X5 to Glasgow Buchanan St Station on their destination screens.
Both are 1/76 scale (OO gauge) Code 3 Model replicas by me
