Some friends wanted to do a mock Christmas card and I volunteered to photograph it. It only took us about a half hour to setup, tear-down, and get a handful of appropriately disturbing photos.

Lighting Info: One Vivitar 285HV flash with 1/4 CTO gel in an umbrella high camera right. Slow shutter speed (1/8") to burn in the lights from the tree.

Ahw. This here is Ryder, another new simmeh.

Ryder was one of the survivors of the nuclear blast intended to wipe out diseased humans, but some of the toxic fumes somehow messed up his vocal cords and whatnot, so....poor Ryder cannot speak. Very well, that is. Anyhoo, he's found and taken to the survivor's hideout along with his buddy Cameron, and becomes completely infatuated with Bethie, even though she's tough as nails and kind of a bitch, whereas he's....not. He's super shy and awkward and just genuinely nice...except for when someone REALLY gets on his nerves. XD

Some good looking youngins I know before the 2014 spring prom. They seemed to have some difficulty at first getting the flowers installed/placed in the right places.......

After a long search we heard news of lions in the neighboring reserve. When we arrived we found nine lions laying in the sun on the road after just eating a kill. These were members of the same pride that we saw the two females a few nights prior.

Don't you hate it when you just can't quite reach the bit that itches?
