Given to my husband for running in the Shrewsbury Half Marathon in 1991. Set in small marble block with details of run and time taken.

A piece of a poster ad for West Side Story, lying on the street somewhere between Chinatown and the South Loop in Chicago.
I was honored to have my photograph “Back Porch” selected for a Members' Choice Award at the 15th Annual Members' Exhibition at the Northville Art House – Northville, Michigan, March 2021. My photograph was one of 5 voted by the members to receive the award from 80 pieces of artwork entered in the exhibition.
In April 2023 this photograph won the People's Choice Award at the Exposures: Photography '23, Juried Photography Exhibit, Lawrence Street Gallery - Ferndale, Michigan.

This Year the tiny little Bakerman got the Crown Award for his unbeatable tasty Monty Bojangles scrumble nutty truffles. They are created by passion and love! The taste of them is out of this world! Once you have eaten one...you can`t stop eating more of em`:)
Those truffles already got a Bestseller in little world. Everyone wants them - go get yourself a box of them :)

This was just made to replace the older award called Objects Award for Elite Artists Artistic Creation Arts Group, made this version into art style and VIVID colors mixing.
There will be one more new one coming later on that will go with real photo's better for that group since it has mixing of art and photo's, it will be more like something i did for World of Artistic and Photography Artists where the award goes to both real and artistic.

The 3/29/21 Macro Mondays theme is Awards.
I received this award in 1953 for winning the Northeastern Regional 50 meter small bore rifle championship.
Patch awarded to a member of the British RAF in WWII. A Navigator was responsible for keeping the aircraft on course at all times. It required long periods of intense concentration for virtually the whole flight, which could be many hours.

Given to my wife by CTA upon her retirement from teaching high school (...God Bless her) over 40 years. I would have lasted maybe a week. Submittal for the Macro Monday's 3/29/21 theme of "Award"
This is the Monte Cassino Commemorative Cross awarded to my father. This medal was awarded to all Polish II Corps soldiers who fought in the battle of Monte Cassino in Italy during May 1944. The serial number on the reverse of this medal (14041) confirms he was in the 11th Signals Battalion. The medal was photographed suspended against a background sheet of brushed stainless steel. Several LED torch lights were used to create the colours and highlights.

I was honored to have my photograph “Yamasaki Detroit” selected for a Honorable Mention Award in the 2021 New York Center for Photographic Art, International Juried Photography Contest on Architecture. There were over 1200 images submitted to the contest.

The interior of the 45 meter (147 ft) wide dome of the Il Duomo di Firenze (Florence Cathedral) features a sprawling mosaic decoration of The Last Judgment. Started in 1568 by Giorgio Vasari and Federico Zuccari, and several other artists, it took 11 years to finish. The upper portion near the lantern gives the illusion of three-dimensional imagery, incredibly impressive considering that it is a 430-year-old work of art.
Florence Cathedral is the main church of Florence, and is one of the largest in Italy. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can climb the Duomo; I counted 462 steps, but supposedly there are 467, and it’s well worth the effort. Mid-way up there is a gallery where you can walk around and see this amazing fresco a lot closer than from the cathedral floor.
For this photo, I couldn't get my Nikon D60 above the protective glass to get a shot...but my iPhone 6s+ did the job just fine. I have to say that the camera on this device is surprisingly good.

2 Awards for walking the 4 Mile, we do that every year but last year it was a virtuel walk so that we could walk in our own environment. A great way to savely do the walk.

My photograph “Cityscape” won Honorable Mention at the 2020 Small Works Juried All-Media Exhibition at the Northville Art House, Northville, Michigan.
The gallery received 428 works of art from 88 national and international artists including Canada, Michigan and 13 addition states. The jury selected 160 works by 66 artists for inclusion in the exhibition and ten awards were presented.
I had 4 photographs accepted into the exhibition. (Right side of photo - one of several walls in the gallery.)
