Beauty shots as part of the series "Awake"
I shot this using a beauty dish very close to models face.
Spring brings kittens; in our neighborhood we try to grab them, tame them and then get them spayed or neutered. This is one of a pair that I grabbed a bit early – they still need to be bottle fed, so I have them at work so I can maintain the feeding schedule.

I shot this using a beauty dish very close to models face.
I slept about 10 hours or more yesterday and was considering giving up on my 365. I tend to come up blank for ideas until around midnight or later and I think the lack of sleep was really effecting me. I woke up this morning and always liked the way the light came in through the living room window against the white wall on the other side of the room. I'm not sleepwalking today, I'm awake.
Movie night! Both these movies are totally amazing. Awesome glare going on, but again using mom's camera.

An early birthday gift from my sister: 400 yards of hand-dyed merino sock yarn, colorway "Wide Awake." This is part of a series of yarns inspired by the movie/book "Twilight."
I waited until the don't walk countdown on that light got to 2 before I took this shot, I like even numbers and the protagonist on that show lives in 2 different realities that might be dreamworlds.
P.S.- I'm actually in the midst of watching the second episode of "Awake" right now.

this is my best friend, Hannah, from Illinois and this week me and my sister showed her all around the Twin Cities. Here we were at Boom Island where they decided to have a mini photoshoot (which honestly didn't end up going too well). She looks so beautiful here, so here's something to add to my flickr! (for once)
I just wish it were a bit bigger! oh well
