Galloways are able to adapt to a variety of climatic conditions. They have good foraging abilities, ensuring that they thrive where other breeds fail. The double haired coat is shed in hot weather, thus making the Galloway a highly adaptable and versatile breed for a variety of climatic conditions.
and not unhappy about it -- just watching the darkness outside shift toward light, and listening to small waves on the shore and the ever-present rumble of the waterfall...
Inspired by Skillet's newest album - Awake
Tried to see if I could replicate their album cover
Take a look at it and tell me what u think
Part of their song, Awake and Alive
I’m awake I’m alive
Now I know what I believe inside
Now it’s my time
I’ll do what I want ’cause this is my life
here, right now
I’ll stand my ground and never back down
I know what I believe inside
I’m awake and I’m alive

The bit where Alice finds it "was all a dream..." I had to use those eyes (Mena Suvari's Coach ad) and the Renoir, as well as the leaves and the wildflowers (National Geographic). The stone (bottom left) and the cottage are filler mainly, as I couldn't find a good pic of the stream Alice was really sitting by.
I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake
I'm wide awake
Yeah, I was in the dark
I was falling hard
With an open heart
I'm wide awake
How did I read the stars so wrong?
I'm wide awake
And now it's clear to me
That everything you see
Ain't always what it seems
I'm wide awake
Yeah, I was dreaming for so long
[Pre-Chorus]
I wish I knew then
What I know now
Wouldn't dive in
Wouldn't bow down
Gravity hurts
You made it so sweet
'Til I woke up on
On the concrete
Falling from cloud 9
Crashing from the high
I'm letting go tonight
Yeah, I'm falling from cloud 9
I'm wide awake
Not losing any sleep
I picked up every piece
And landed on my feet
I'm wide awake
Need nothing to complete myself, no
I'm wide awake
Yeah, I am born again
Outta the lion's den
I don't have to pretend
And it's too late
The story's over now, the end
I wish I knew then
What I know now
Wouldn't dive in
Wouldn't bow down
Gravity hurts
You made it so sweet
'Til I woke up on
On the concrete
Day 282

That's me on a giant golden bear, by the way.
The story focuses on a man who suffers "anesthetic awareness" and finds himself awake and aware, but paralyzed, during heart surgery. His young wife must wrestle with her own demons as a drama unfolds around them.
This piece represents time. On the left is the past, where the elephant reminds us to remember, though it is blurred to indicate that we shouldn't focus on the past. The middle, that is bright and in focus is the present. The right represents the future with all of the lines showing that there are many paths for our future to take.
