Outside a small hotel in Sheringham which will soon be demolished. It has stood empty for many years now...street artists have started to adorn it's walls with bright and amusing art quite recently taking advantage of it's imminent demolition.
Sheringham has it's own approved street artist - Colin Seal. (The old hotel is not painted by him) Take a look at some of his art. tinyurl.com/y3hcpj6m
Line ups of tuk tuks are quite a common sight throughout Bangkok and they often come with sleeping drivers...

A nice line up of matching painted Reading and Northern power can be seen on the engine house tracks north of the modern diesel shop at the railroads Port Clinton headquarters.
Lined up awaiting the call from L to R are:
RBMN 802 (EMD SW8 blt. Dec. 1950 as LV 253)
RBMN 5049 (EMD SD50M blt. Dec. 1984 as MP 5049 in UP yellow)
RBMN 1546 (EMD SW1500 blt. Feb. 1970 as EMDX 112 later IU 28 and CR 1606)
Amazingly this classic looking shop structure is decidedly modern dating from 1996 when the RBMN chose this site for their new centralized headquarters and shop complex. When the Reading Cluster was acquired from Conrail in 1990 nothing was here other than a lonely unsignaled switch in the middle of the woods. Everything seen here was created from whole cloth...impressive indeed!

There is an old saying that goes something like, "Good things come to those that wait." But with Koo, some things can never wait.......

Tropical Storm Nicole will be kicking up the surf Friday, with the water still warm enough that the surfers haven't yet donned their wetsuits...
My sister-in-law Nicole passed from ALS this last year, so it's good to see her taking out the 2022 hurricane season with a bang :).

I feel like I'm intruding on something very personal here, like a long-awaited first meeting.
Yes, I know. Me and my anthropomorphism.

Though the setting is gloomy, these classic old cars were actually awaiting restoration at an auto body shop, outside of Cumby, Texas.
Horses are a symbol of strength
Through hardships, they go to any length
Their resilience knows no bound
Their bravery a testament profound
In their eyes, I see a flicker of hope
A reminder that in life, we can always cope
