Sin avisar ha llegado el otoño, ha cubierto los campos de una fina película de miel, las hojas amarillean, los días se acortan, el cielo se torna gris y llora de melancolía.

Otoño, estación para recordar, de lluvias y tristezas inexplicables... Días para suspirar.

Afuera oscurece y por encima de las nubes, densas y mullidas como algodones, ya deben de brillar las primeras estrellas...

Una estación diferente …… pero mágica.

Avis à nos amis francophones ne parlant pas anglais : "bin" signifie "poubelle" et "bizarre" est un peu la version finale du mot "weird", évoluant ensuite en "strange" pour finir en "bizarre" quand vraiment, vraiment... VRAIMENT, c'est... bizarre ! :-))

Neottia nidus-avis, the birds-nest orchid, is a non-photosynthetic orchid, native to Europe, Russia, and some parts of the Middle East.

It is widespread in shady woodland, especially beech, on basic soils.

Neottia nidus-avis grows to 40cm tall and each shoot can carry up to 60 flowers. Plants are not in any part green, deriving all their nutrition from a mycorrhizal fungus in the soil/litter, which in turn derives nutrition from the roots of trees. Plants are generally beige-brown, though sometimes yellowish or white forms are discovered. The flower labellum splits and strongly diverges at its lower end. This species of orchid can be hard to spot, being camouflaged against the leaf litter.

Malgré un panneau signalétique de risque de vague de submersion, et de danger de mort, un père et son fils s'y sont quand même aventurés...

Heureusement pour eux, ils sont sains et saufs cependant ils sont revenus en courant... évidement effrayés et complètement trempés.
