Sie ist eine Trinkwassertalsperre und versorge die Stadt Plauen seit über 100 Jahren mit Trinkwasser. Erbaut wurde sie von 1903 bis 1909 und 1910 in Betrieb genommen. die Geigenbachtalsperre ist die zweitälteste Talsperre in Sachsen.

It is a drinking water reservoir and has been supplying the city of Plauen with drinking water for over 100 years. It was built from 1903 to 1909 and put into operation in 1910. the Geigenbach dam is the second oldest dam in Saxony.

Normally, these flowers do not bloom so late in the year ... The more I was happy about this bunch of flowers at the edge of the forest :-)

Normalerweise blühen diese Blumen nicht mehr so spät im Jahr ... Umso mehr habe ich mich über diesen Blumenstrauß am Waldrand gefreut :-)
