Twizy ZE Concept is an ultra-compact (2.30m in length, and 1.13m wide) all-electric vehicle aimed primarily at city dwellers. Power comes from a 15 kW (20 hp) electric motor which develops 70 N·m of torque; the transmission is a direct drive with reducer and forward/reverse inverter.
The acceleration performance of Twizy ZE Concept in urban and suburban traffic is comparable to that of a 125 cc motorbike, according to Renault. The EV has a top speed of 75 km/h (47 mph), and a projected range of 100 km (62 miles).

They had a full Hall to themselves and had 18 cars on Display !
Overall styling looks inspired by the Mini Cooper, like Suzuki Swift. It boasts features like traction control, automatic climate control and cruise control, which weren't seen so far on any hatchback in India.

Joe Hinrichs, president, Ford Asia Pacific and Africa, introduces the new 1.0-litre, three-cylinder EcoBoost engine that will power the all-new Ford EcoSport.
The much hyped small segment car launched by TATA Motors in Autoexpo 2k8. Projected as the 'Peoples' Car', Nano is supposed to attract the common masses due to its small form factor and a amazingly low price tag. Not official yet but the car is expected to be around INR 100000 which is almost half the tag of other cars in the segment.
The car has various peculiar features including the placement of the engine at the rear end and the front bonnet is actually the luggage area. At the heart of the car is a 2 cylinder 623 cc engine which although obviously not suitable for power driving, but will provide great mileage for usual commuting.
