This ring is so ultra geeky its sexy. I found this font (ancient autobot) free and commercially free to use, check it out on fontspace. The characters are really well shaped and are wonderfully alien. The text is machined, embedded in the silver and will not rub off.

In case anyone is wondering why I didn't snap many pictures of him holding his blaster, it's because he's unable to properly grip his weapon. Kinda annoying but he'll hold it just fine if you don't move him vigourously.
