"Autobot X" (or Autobot Spike) was custom built with the parts of about 100 "junker" transformers and other robotic toys. He has over 50 points of articulation/moving parts.
Some cool features
- Eyes light up
- Left Forearm opens for gun attachment
- Left upper arm opens to reveal gears
- Right arm has laser light built in
- Small button on back triggers "Transforming noise"
- 2nd small button on back triggers other sound effects
- Batteries are all easily replaceable
- Head was scratch built (using a Sigma 6 GI Joe for the face)
- Hydraulic on back of right leg really works
- Several parts are die cast and were cut to size and shape
- Over 11" tall

One of the best figures in the last years, the long awaited Grimlock Masterpiece. He has amazing details and gimmicks, and he's a great homeage to the G1 version.
It's worth every penny and it's an excellent way to commemorate the 250th figure in my collection.

Deluxe class Autobot Swerve in his robot mode.
This is the third-party iGear's MiniWarrior Veer. A bit expensive and limited for what they are, it's nice to have these Autobot toys at this scale.
This is an original Transformers Generation 1 version of the Autobot Prowl. Pictured in his robot mode.
I never had Prowl as a kid, only Bluestreak, and so it's nice to revisit this mold again.
This guy was purchased with all his accessories and even his original box for a great deal at one of the local AZ TF meetups. A fellow was getting rid of his collection that he took amazing care of, and this was the piece I got from him.
The only thing that is broken is the windscreen. But since my Bluestreak is the same way, it is fitting. He still looks just fine.
He fills yet another of the few holes in my original deluxe car based Autobots from 84'.

Inicialmente Arcee fue diseñada para salir en la película, pero al final la excluyeron, sin embargo sí sacaron la figura.
Muy buen diseño en ambos modos, aunque el arma le queda un poco grande y es complicado hacer buenas poses con el arma puesta.
Esperemos que salga en la segunda película.

The Autobot Double Targetmaster Scoop gets a Classics / Generations release based on his IDW comic character. Pictured in robot mode.
He's a decent design, although the soft plastic makes it so his tabs don't hold him together all that well.
He comes with a pair of Targetmasters like the G1 toy: Holepunch and Caliburst (renamed from Tracer).

So, here's Autobot Rollbar; the newest Autobot to join the 3rd Transformers Movie. Throughout the past few days there had been numerous reports of a mysterious new Red Giant Jeep at the Transformers 3 set. Those who know G1, will immediately recognize him as Throttlebot Rollbar from that continuity.
The "T B" logo on the back of the vehicle stands for Tommy Built. Initially this jeep was built not for the movie, but YouTube videos (now taken down by Paramount) prove that the "turret" behind the vehicle is fitted with a Machine Gun and a N.E.S.T gunman will wield the weapon

Beachcomber is the minibot that I needed to complete the Minibots from the 1985 catalogue.
Beachcomber is complete because he came with no accesories and he's in very good condition.
The Headmaster Autobot known as Fortress Maximus gets a voyager-sized toy for our Transformer Classics/Generations collections. Pictured in commander mode, otherwise known as his head mode.
Produced by the third-party toy maker, PerfectEffect, he's officially named PE-DX03 Warden. He homages both the giant G1 character, as well as his recent IDW comic incarnation.
By far the best figure released by PerfectEffect to date, the engineering and paint are amazing. In fact, I would go as far as to say he's the best painted Transformer ever. He supposedly has 7 modes, which is somewhat true.
His core transformation is his ability to transform into a head for the original G1 Fortress Maximus. I don't have that giant figure, but this is a great looking mode. At least his included stand can be used to display him in this mode.
