In 1543, Emperor Charles V granted the royal privilege of Llucmajor fairs held from September 29 (San Miguel) until Sunday before 18 October (Luke), and a weekly market on Wednesday and Friday . The fair begins on the day of St. Michael the proclamation during the days of fairs and exhibitions are exhibitions, competitions, etc.. En 1543, el emperador Carlos V concedió a Llucmajor el real privilegio de poder celebrar ferias desde el 29 de septiembre (San Miguel) hasta el domingo antes del 18 de octubre (San Lucas), y también mercado semanal el miércoles y el viernes . Las ferias comienzan el día de San Miguel con el pregón de ferias y durante los días de ferias hay exposiciones, concursos, etc. El día más destacado es el de la última feria, el domingo antes de San Lucas.
