Inside the watermill of Sars-Poterie (1780 - Avesnois - France). This mill is the only one to have kept the whole of its mechanism. Anette Delmotte, the guide and descendant of the miller's family, will give to you a lot of explanations about this charming watermill still in order until 1963.

i am uploading this a good few days late and in all honesty cannot remember what was going through my head when i took this haha :/ think i was thinking about getting some new vans, i dont really like this style, particularly as every other bird nest sporting 14 year old is wearing them.... i miss the old skate school style ones, seems you cant get them for less than £60 these days! bah!
The guy totally looked the part of "Old West", too. All he needed was a gun belt and he'd be set to appear in the Lone Ranger or something.

After spending a week driving south bound, I arrived in SILVER CITY, New Mexico. I woke up at 7AM to go hiking around town at 8AM. The streets were almost empty and the town was nicer than I expected.
It had long been rumoured that Peter Tiechman, owner of the Hangar 11 Collection based at North Weald, would repaint his P-51D into a new and authentic scheme. It was already known that the Mustang (serial 44-72035) had served with the 332nd Fighter Group, more famously known as The Tuskegee Airmen. To this day the aircraft still carries evidence of its wartime service in the form of patched bullet holes across the fuselage. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African-American military aviators and became commonly known as the ‘Red Tails’ after they started painting the tails and bands on the noses of their aircraft a striking red colour. Therefore it is somewhat fitting that the Mustang be returned to a scheme representative of the unit with which it once served.

The area where the town is located was referred to as "The Hollows" a long time ago. In 1747 the father of Thomas Jefferson, Peter Jefferson, and Joshua Frye surveyed the area and made the first known map of it. The area is surrounded by mountains, so maybe that was the inspiration for the original name. Gradually many small communities developed, and eventually several of them together became what's now known as Mount Airy.
Mount Airy, N.C. is a small town, with a population of about 10,390 people, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was incorporated in1885, and did very well producing tobacco, furniture, textiles and granite from the (very large) granite quarry. By the 1960s those industries had begun to dwindle, and the passage of NAFTA in the late 1980s closed down most of the remaining textile mills. The town has developed a new economy based on the popularity of the old TV show, The Andy Griffith Show, inspired by many of the experiences of Andy Griffith while growing up there.
Mount Airy has also made it onto many a list of best small towns of America...
