Awesome bit of AR work we did for Nokia around their 'Everybody Connect' launch.
Had the original idea back in February and, a couple of months later, the whole thing came real.. Amazing :)
This is why I tweeted - twitter.com/Whatleydude/status/11834135505 about a week before the launch. Superb.

The Augmented City Lab focused on near-future scenarios for mobile location-aware services - great workshop hosted by Ronald Lenz. Our particular task was to figure out an "Augmented City" application that used laser tagging technology. We came up with the idea of "Augmented Branding" - adding your voice to advertisements. SHOOT FYI by Ragdoll Twins at Parallel Vienna 2016 - Art-Fair, 21.9. - 26.9. 2016
The augmented reality installation SHOOT FYI playfully points at actual strategies of social media related affairs. Wearing a headmounted system or mobile device one can destroy the wall in front and thus unveil the space behind where virtual deconstructed icons involved in amorous interactions throw their shadows back onto the 3D-environment. The trigger-image correlates to a disastrous wall.

The exhibition’s ‘mixed reality - virtual art - room’ was shared with Norbert Unfug’s ‘Dream Sequence’ (VR-Installation).
SHOOT FYI will be released as soon as possible at Google Play & Apple App Store, so you can trigger a miniature variation of the original life-sized AR-Installation with your own mobile device.
Curated by medien.kunst.tirol, the other two curated rooms showed works by JoechlTragseiler, Nicole Weniger and Florian Hafele.
SCOPE merges the basic characteristics of video games and real-life toys to improve existing games or create new ones. By attributing various virtual parameters commonly used in video games (power, life, magic, experience, attack, weapons, etc.) to tangible toys, it brings the toys to life. With this approach, it is possible to create all sorts of video game concepts mixed with the real world. For example, a child’s bedroom could become a natural battleground for play.

We received some gently packed display at work and each corner was shipped with one of these foamy wedges. They were set out on the desk where a mini game of Excitebike played itself out.
