The audience lay back on a giant circular couch at the foot of a large stairwell and the round projection screen was raised and lowered above them as the show was projected onto it from above.
We were 2 or 3 flights up, above the screen.

One of the great things about photography is the ability it affords to travel back in time to re experience some of the good times from the past. I was looking through these with fond memories and thinking about how much I have learned since the spring. The early editing and enhancements weren't very good, so I applied some of the techniques I have developed since then. Enjoy.

Bartram’s Garden is a 45-acre National Historic Landmark, operated by the John Bartram Association in cooperation with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation. It is a destination and an outdoor classroom, living laboratory, and membership organization for ever-expanding audiences―over 95,000 each year and counting.
The John Bartram Association’s mission is to protect and enhance the landmark Bartram’s Garden and House; advance the Bartram legacy of discovery, gardening, and art; and inspire audiences of all ages to care for the natural world.

The precarious condition of the Los Angeles economy- resulting from a national and state recession, historic state budget deficits and fiscal debt, business closures, job loss and citizen anxiety- has become a primary focal point for Angelenos. This panel discussion addressed how California's budgetary and fiscal crisis and Los Angeles' high unemployment rate have impacted residents' quality of life, while also offering recommendations to improve the city's business climate and job creation.
