Impossible Puzzles
"Over time, it has become my mission to share the creative experience with as many people as possible using every tool I can find. I work to demystify art and to break through barriers. I hope to touch the imagination of children and adults alike."
Beard's art is filled with an intricate, almost mathematical dance of whimsical animals, feathers, and figures, all in constant motion. His artwork hangs on public and private walls around the world.
If I'm honest, I would never have chosen this puzzle but I found it in our stash and can only assume it was another of Mike's ill-chosen purchases!
On opening the box I discovered it was a push-fit, colour-line cut reminiscent of PMW's output, only in card instead of wood.
Although with only 315 (mostly large) pieces, it was about the same size as a bog-standard 1K puzzle so the busy, crowded image was at least easy enough to cope with.
Having found most of the edge pieces, I then set about trying to make sense of the rest, Once laid out on boards it didn't prove too difficult and went together fairly rapidly, I think because I've a little experience of PMW puzzles.
Another one that's destined for the charity shop...
