this proved to be a huge challenge, and although i took alot of time on this, i am not very happy with it. despite trying various settings, and playing with the lighting i had i really didnt come to close to what i was modeling after, the coloring is off, and i didn't come near the soft glow of the model. lot of work to do. of course only having the overhead fluorescent lights and a reading lamp to work with didn t help...lol back to the drawing board.....
This assignment was taken because of the large amount of simple negative space. In addition, I used the rule of thirds and tried to pull out the shapes in the bottle. I also liked how the orange contrasted with the green background.
A little late, but here is Assignment #8! =) The subject is not that great but I must say that I learned A LOT while doing this lesson and that is what matters! =) I kept my ISO at 100, aperature at f/3.5 and my shutter speed was pretty low at 1/30. Not sure if that was too low and if I even did this right but it is what brought my blinking dash to the center. This lesson made me take out my book, look up some things and so I learned SO much! Anyway, excited about the new things I learned today! WOO HOO!!! =)
