I took this for two reasons. First is that I thought "Bare Assets" was just fantastic. Second, I figured what better way to show what part of town I was in than to get a pic of this.
By now you should have the following assets: a line drawing of yourself, and several different pattern fill variations.
David Fitzgerald, Creative Play - St. Louis Park Community Education
Imagine if you will, a man playing the role of working artist. Rehearsal has been ongoing since the age of five. A turning point in his early career occurs when the boy artist sells his first painting to his barber for a haircut and two bits…a shave seemed pointless. David is the father of Margaret, 4 years, who participates in Creative Play and Katherine, 6 years.
Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper stopped by Metropolitan State University of Denver on Monday April 29, 2013 to sign Senate Bill 33, or the ASSET (Advancing Students for a Strong Economy Tomorrow) Bill. The bill allows qualified undocumented Colorado high school graduates to attend any public Colorado university or college for the in-state tuition rate. MSU Denver was the first higher education institution in Colorado to support the bill and the only one to consistently testify in favor of its passage.

Greta, Audrey & Fiona, St. Louis Park Emergency Program
Greta, 8 years, has been volunteering in the STEP food shelf for 2 1/2 years. Audrey, 6 years and Fiona, 4 years, help out in the STEP warehouse once a month. Both Greta and Audrey attend Park Spanish Immersion School. Greta likes playing with some of the children who come through STEP and giving back to those in need. All the girls are trying to live out the "Golden Rule" of treating others the way you want to be treated. The inspiration for the painting was showing "helping hands" and painting what they wished everybody in the world would have: love, a home, good food, and education.
