Women Heads of State and Government met today on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) High-level Week to discuss global issues in the newly created UNGA Platform of Women Leaders. The event, under the theme of âTransformative Solutions by Women Leaders to Todayâs Interlinked Challengesâ, highlights that womenâs full and effective political participation and decision-making are crucial to addressing global priorities effectively, decisively, and inclusively. 20 September 2022 in the Trusteeship Chamber at UN Headquarters in New York.
With the presence of Her Excellencies President Katalin Novák of Hungary, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh, Prime Minister KatrÃ-n Jakobsdóttir of Iceland, Prime Minister FiamÄ Naomi MataÊ»afa of Samoa, and Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja of Uganda, as well as Prime Minister Evelyna Wever-Croes of Aruba and Prime Minister Silveria E. Jacobs of St. Maarten, and former Prime Minister Helen Clark of New Zealand, the event was hosted by the Office of the President of the General Assembly and UN Women, in cooperation with the Council of Women World Leaders (CWWL).

The event was hosted by the United Kingdom, UN Women, the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) on Sexual Violence in Conflict, and the International Campaign to Stop Rape & Gender Violence in Conflict, who together called on world leaders for stronger actions to secure justice for survivors of conflict-related sexual violence and gender-based crimes.

The Assembly Hall in South Etobicoke. It is operated by the City of Toronto, and was originally built as a building for assemblies, church services, dances, etc. for the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital.
Assembly Moth (Samea ecclesialis; Hodges#5150) - The Space Coast of Florida
Dah Wife spotted this small moth on the ceiling of the lānai, and wouldn't let up until I photographed it!
So she gets most of the credit for this capture!
I'm not sue why it's called the Assembly Moth.
Perhaps its the digital nature of its wing pattern that got it that name, but more likely something to do with assembling in groups like soldiers waiting for marching orders.

The parliament building was designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, who also designed Sydney Opera House.
