TVRM 100 leaves East Chattanooga with Southern 4501 on the point as Engineer Andrew Durden continues to warm & blow out the cylinders, which takes a hot minute on this engine due to it just being a "wet engine" despite the superheaters. Why is it a "wet engine" you may ask? Because steam engines, that's why. No other explanation needed. 9-7-20

Waited for the boat to cross the sunshine.
The fisherman caught up with me later in the day and asked for the photo.
Chloé is a badass. This shoot was rainy, cold, dirty and pretty physically intense. She was totally down with it all. Champ.
more later this week.
Thank you for letting me take your picture lady, you were wonderful. Think up some way to equally torture me and I'll do it no questions asked.
i have not used my nikkor 18-200VR for quite a while and i thought i would take it for a spin last sunday. shot this in a park in a mall actually. the greenbelt park has the most awesome orchids and ferns in the city if you ask me. they must have cost a fortune to bring these living fossils into the center of the city. and they are thriving very well!
Walking home, camera in hand as usual, and this man asked me to take his picture. So, I did and we had a brief chat. I sent him a copy and received a nice thank you.
We're covered in a sheet of ice over here. If you're getting pummeled by this huge northeastern storm - stay safe!!
Sorry for being so scarce around your streams lately...life has been keeping me away. Looking forward to seeing what you've all been up to today :)
Aşk, bir seferdir.
Bu sefere çıkan her yolcu, istese de istemese de tepeden tırnağa değişir.
Bu yollara dalıp da değişmeyen yoktur.
In 2019 I drove from Columbus, Ohio to Toronto, Ontario Canada. I hate flying so I was happy to drive. I spent an amazing week with professional photographer Spencer Wynn. He is a brilliant photographer and outstanding teacher. In planning for this trip, I was so excited because I had just gotten a passport for the first time in my life, and I was looking forward to getting it stamped. Other than a cruise, I had never been out of the country. So, off I went! When I got to the Canadian border, I answered a few questions and proudly displayed my brand new passport. The man looked at it and handed it back. I asked if he was going to stamp it and he said that they don’t stamp passports when coming from the US. Damn! I asked him if he would stamp it anyway, and he said no. So I still have a passport with no stamps. I took this picture to prove I actually left the country at least once in my life. Otherwise, nobody would believe I did it.
OxAlice....and it's not yet ten feet tall. With apologies to Ms. Slick. Thanks for the look and have a large Weekend.
I don't think she was exactly a farmhand on the "ranch." Found among a batch of old coins I was given.

As locals, we are being asked to apply as film extras for a "Huge new feature film". There are scant details but it appears The filming of Henry Cavill-starrer ‘Highlander’ will start in Scotland, Italy, and Hong Kong in May 2025. Based on the 1986 movie of the same name, the movie revolves around Connor MacLeod, an immortal from the Highlands of Scotland who has been alive since the 1500s and now lives in plain sight as the head of a charitable foundation in New York. He was killed back in the day but somehow got revived to live a full life with his wife, Heather.
As the narrative progresses, Ramirez approaches MacLeod with the talk of the former’s immortal nature and destiny, only for the Highlander to refuse to abandon Heather until her death by natural causes. After Heather’s demise, without ceasing to miss her, MacLeod looks Ramirez up and learns about their powers, their place as warriors, and their destiny to battle amongst themselves until only one remains. MacLeod has lived many lives over the centuries and counted Ramirez as his companion along the journey, as well as fellow immortal Castegir.
MacLeod and Ramirez’s saga takes a turn when Kurgan is out to claim supremacy. In the past, MacLeod bested Kurgan, buried him under tons of rocks, and told the others he was dead. But now, Kurgan has surfaced again and is out for blood. FBI agent Lara suspects MacLeod when people start turning up dead, but he evades her until she witnesses herself that those like him and Kurgan cannot be killed except by one another. MacLeod is eventually found by Castegir, who tries to get him to join forces against Kurgan, but Castegir is after power himself, forcing the former to fight him as well.
Chad Stahelski, who helmed all four ‘John Wick’ films, is directing the movie based on a screenplay by Mike Finch, who previously collaborated with the filmmaker for ‘John Wick: Chapter 4.’
Stahelski suggested that the reboot could mark the birth of a franchise. “I think we have some very good elements now. The trick is when you have the tagline ‘there can only be one,’ you can’t just kill everybody the first time.
We had a guy stay with us at our B&B late last year. His whole car was full of movie camera gear, and he set off for a day to research scenes at Sanna Bay, supposedly filming for a property developer, which sounded rather unlikely to us. Is the beauty, peace and tranquility of Sanna Bay about to be destroyed in the next Highlander movie? It will be interesting to see, as many of the scenes in the original Highlander movie were filmed around Loch Shiel.....and Skye.
Funnily enough I was on the beach down by Castle Tioram. There was a young local Mum down there with her toddler. He was dressed in tiny well boots with a one piece weather proof zip up suit. As we threw sticks for the dogs to collect from the water we didn't notice the two and a half year old toddler had waded off into the water behind us and was waist deep and half way across to the castle on it's islet. "Connor!" the woman shouted in horror. Her surname McLeod. Did I get that right? Was little Connor McLeod, the boy Highlander, assuming he would live forever wading out into the depths? Perhaps he thought I was Kurgan.
What part should I ask the Casting Collective for? www.castingcollective.co.uk/artiste/casting-calls/highlands Bullshitter isn't available
Actually, the photo is of "The Highlander" memorial at Glenfinnan
When I asked Benni to sit so I could take a picture of her on the bluff, she automatically jumped up on the bench. She doesn't really sit on the ground if there's a bench or chair around. Happy Tongue Tuesday!
1st comment shows what Benni could see - the people look as little as ants.
Was the late Neil Armstrong, whose footprint remains intact on the windless moon, happier than the nameless hunter-gatherer who 32,000 years ago left her handprint on a wall in Chauvet Cave? If not what was the point of developing, agriculture, cities, writing, coinage, empires, science and Industry?

She sure makes you think, this philosopher red dog of mine.
tried asking him why he needed 3 bodies for the event but got a weird reaction/response....never did find out...not sure this guy has all his marbles there
Asked Mr. Robot just before realizing that it was his left leg. Luckily mechanoids don't feel any pain. It's just thank to his sophisticated sensors that he perceived that, after that headlong fall, his leg came off.
How dreadful! Benny was sure that Mr. Robot was indestructible, and after all these years full of adventures, how was possible that he broke his legs in the silliest possible way?
I think that, at this point, the title of this mini-series ("A new hip") should be clear.
These are probably the last posts from Alice, A Steampunk Musical at Las Vegas PRIDE. It is visually so much fun I have a huge number of shots that I think are really cool, but I don't want to overload Flickr. When people ask "what is black and white and red all over?" they often are referring to those old riddles about newspapers and embarrassed zebras. In the world of Lepidoptera, however, they can only mean the aptly named Zebra Swallowtail Butterfly. A striking, but common insect species of North America, the zebra swallowtail features a very distinctive bold black and white striped wing pattern highlighted by brilliant red median stripes.
In warmer climates, such as Florida and the Deep South, three broods of zebra swallowtails, scientifically described as Eurytides marcellus, are completed per year. On the northern edge of its range, however, two reproductive cycles are the norm. Adults that emerge during the spring are usually smaller, paler, and have shorter tails than later broods, and summer and autumn cohorts are progressively larger and darker. Yet, no matter what their appearance, zebra swallowtails can be distinguished from other swallowtail butterfly species in flight by their characteristic close-to-the-ground forays, very direct flight paths, and rapid wing beats.
I found this one at Three Lakes Wildlife Management Area, Osceola County, Florida.
As you know I was out last night with an old mate Daisy and we were chatting about what's happened in our life since we last met a few months ago. Of course my journey figured a lot as did her relationship that is going really well for her. I am so pleased she is happy again.
Anyway I asked if I had got my legs out while doing these photos. Seems like she knows me all to well lol.
So here is the not so innocent bride :-)
This dress can be seen hanging on the wall i vast number of my photos, I got a while back now on the off chance i would get into it.
Its been tried on a number of times but has always been a struggle to get half done up. Think i might have posted a photo or two of when i was shoehorned into it.
Anyway it was mentioned that it would be nice to see me wearing it and i replied I was working on it.
Well yesterday i managed to do it up convincingly, don't get me wrong its still tight i have double boobage going on and back fat the average poker would be proud of. It will all be seen in the following photos.
Hair didn't play the game yesterday neither really did the makeup. and the necklace was a bad choice, Minor points really but in all truth it was about fitting into the dress and not how I looked.
Look at that silhouette though and all natural not a bit of padding to be had just a bit of spare flab lol But seriously this dress is so slimming it amazed me how tiny i looked

“As the Scriptures say,
‘People are like grass;
their beauty is like a flower in the field.
The grass withers and the flower fades.
But the word of the Lord remains forever.’
And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.” – 1 Peter 1:24-25
been asked to post this one by the lovely Cindy who saw it posted elsewhere.
nice outfit to wear this was just a little chilly for the walk back home in the evening.
mind you wouldn't have been very good to wear today what with all the rain we have had.
off on my holiday on Tuesday so possibly won't get much posted during that time, however I always say that and still carry carry on as normal
