Taken at Barefoot Restaurant, Aruba. Barefoot restaurant is situated on the beach, across the street from Talk of the Town, under the large palapa, near the airport. They have tables overlooking the Caribbean Sea under a palapa, as well as seating on the beach under the stars. Barefoot is the ideal spot for a great dinner in a tropical ambiance.

Si bien me apasiona todo el Cariba y aún me falta conocer muchos lugares, no puedo dejar de pensar en escaparme a esta isla holandesa...ahora encontré esta imagen en una vieja memoria y quisiera estar allà sin dudarlo un segundo.
Lo mejor es que los clásicos huracanes y tornados caribeños, no pasan nunca por este lugar y eso también es impagable.

Feels like it is time for a winter get-away!
Crafted this last year - just ran across it and it struck a cord with me again. Touched it up a bit.
Just got back from our winter trip to Aruba. This is the most iconic spot on the island, showing one of the famous Divi trees which has come to symbolize Aruba. Caught this picture when people had abandoned the beautiful white sand surrounding the trees north of Eagle Beach.

Another view of the Lighthouse which is 98 feet tall. It is no longer in use and is now just maintained as a historical monument. You can climb it for the great views from the top!
Seen from a distance, through the cactus, is the tallest structure on the island. The lighthouse derives its name from a British steamship, S.S. California, which sank in 1891 off the Northwest point of Aruba.
