Huntington National Bank gives 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to The Salvation Army to help students in Indianapolis with back-to-school needs.
Spent a really lovely day with Scooby39 at the weekend. Last time we met up we only managed to walk about 50 metres in six hours (we basically just sat in two neighbouring cafes and chatted) but this time we managed to walk and chat at the same time! We had to dodge a few torrential showers but walked right along the river, through the Botanic Gardens over to South Bank and back into town. Not only was Scooby carrying an army backpack full of books to lend me but her poor feet were covered in blisters because it was so hot and sticky. By the end of the walk she'd turned into a real Aussie having discarded her shoes half way round.
In between the storms the sun came out and everything was glistening. We rushed over to this plant thinking they were blackberries from a distance. I'm still not sure what they were but you wouldn't want to put them in a pie.
