The US Army Central Command today reported that it had successfully deployed a new weapon in an attempt to turn back the forces of the Isamic State in Iaq and Syria.

The recently developed and fielded M1A1 Weaponized Armored Responsive Porcine Infantry Gear System is designed to both demoralize and offend ISIS fighters. Said CENTCOM spokeswoman LTC Charlotte Webb, "It has proven extremely effective in the combat zone. ISIS fighters have either run away in horror and disgust, or become so enraged that they've attacked without regard to cover or concealment, resulting in a target-rich environment. We're still not sure if this is because of the uniform's unique look, or if it's because of the Black Sabbath music blaring from the gun trucks."

Webb credited the system's design to US troops who had previously served in Iraq and Afghanistan. "So many of them started wearing unauthorized 'Pork-Eating Crusader' morale patches on their uniforms, that we figured 'Why not go whole hog?'."

Webb did concede that there had been some problems with the system. "The uniform is rather heavy, and warms up very quickly giving off a distinctive bacon-y smell. This has resulted in hundreds of fobbits hitting the DFAC in a rush, overwhelming the Class I logistical chain." According to Webb, a more serious issue has been the response from friendly Coalition forces. "It not only offends and enrages the enemy, it tends to do the same to our regional allies" she said. "But, hey, like we told our soldiers, frag 'em if they can't take a joke."

Indian Army Mules paraded at Army Mela 2025 in Bengaluru.

"During 1970s and 80s, mules were the only mode of transport in remote areas of Ladakh, Sikkim and Arunachalam Pradesh.

Mules are bred from mares of Austria's Noric breed or France's Breton and Australian male donkeys, resulting in larger mules that can carry loads weighing around 100 kg. GS mules are bred from local mares in Punjab and local male donkeys, resulting in smaller mules ."

As the fist of Lady Liberty, the U.S. Army is the most powerful military force in the world.

I wanted to test out a new background. I am not too big of a fan of the OD paper I was using before, it doesn't come out well. The best colors in my opinion are black and white...

In May, a company of soldiers from the 2nd Battalion The Royal Yorkshire Regiment will be embedded into the 1 Royal Irish battlegroup during exercise WESSEX STORM on Salisbury Plain Training Area.

The aim will be to the test new capabilities and recently developed tactics techniques and procedures (TTPs) developed by 2 YORKS as the Army’s Future Soldier, Next Generation Combat Team, against an opposition force from 3 PARA.

During this exercise, the future combat workforce structure will be tested. 2 YORKS, through DSTL has developed a new concept, called the Phalanx Company.

This is two large platoons of 38, a Manoeuvre Support Group of 38 and a CSS Group of between 12-24 soldiers. All the groupings have been enhanced with Uncrewed Aerial Systems, Uncrewed Ground Systems, and sensors.

The Platoons will have the latest generation night capability and sighting systems and they will be using the latest communication systems to enable the Enhance Dismounted Situational Awareness System aimed at improving Command and Control at Company level.

The Prairie Village, Herman & Milwaukee is a two-mile standard gauge railroad that operates on the grounds of Historic Prairie Village in Madison, South Dakota.

The primary motive power is 0-6-0 29, originally US Army 4047 and later Duluth & Northeastern. The railroad also rosters a former US Air Force GE 80-ton diesel, 1687, affectionately known as "The Colonel," and a replica South Dakota Central doodlebug.

1Lt. Sharon Rex (center) with four Army nurses enjoying a much earned day off. Approximately 11,000 military women were stationed in Vietnam during the war. Nearly all of them were volunteers, and 90 percent served as military nurses, though women also worked as physicians, air traffic controllers, intelligence officers, clerks and other positions in the U.S. Women’s Army Corps, U.S. Navy, Air Force and Marines and the Army Medical Specialist Corps. Five female Army nurses died over the course of the war. www.virtualwall.org/women.htm Photo courtesy of Sharon Rex (center). Sharon served at the 12th Evac Hospital in Cu Chi and the 312th Evac Hospital at Chu Lai. Her husband, 1Lt. Joseph Rex was our platoon leader.

Hello guys. I wanted to build an armored car that I (and I hope you too) can imagine in a convoy. I have placed 5 figures in the vehicle. In my opinion my hardest task is to give a name for my creations :D I know that it is a bit strange... Write in a comment your idea, and I will try to choose the best one. :)

This US Army switcher was transferred from the Aberdeen Proving Grounds to the Navy Base at Indian Head, MD, seen here at the CSX interchange at White Plains, MD. Summer 1999.

US Army GP7u was built by EMD in 1950 as Clinchfield GP7 910. It was rebuilt in as a GP16 in April 1979 as Family Lines 4600. It later became Seaboard System 4600 and even later CSX 1700. It was re-rebuilt at Altoona as USA 4627.

I found it in transit at UP's Proviso Yard in 2000 as it was going from Altoona to whatever base it would wind up at. So somewhere on an Army base the troops are entertained by a nice Leslie RS5T at revelry.

When King Godfrey marched his armies to meet the Crusaders in the south, he left a handful of capable fighters to train civilians as soldiers. Men of the Kings army called these soldiers 'Scrubs'.

The Scrubs policed petty crimes in the absence of the trained soldiers, and when the Bull Barbarians attacked from the east whilst the Falcon Kingdom was vulnerable, it was the Scrubs that Princess Anna lead against them to defend the Kingdom!

Okay, so here we have five of my ten U.S. Army minifigs for my faction. From left to right you have an M82 (HCSR), a P90 (Combat PDW), an M249 (Combat LMG), an M4 (ARC), and an M14 EBR (M21 and M1 Carbine). I am still working on the paint jobs for these guys, and to reduce space and make these more compact, I have begun working on my own vests. They will still utilize some of the aspects of the Minifig Cat and AMA vests that I currently own, but with a little bit of a new slimmer look that will bring down the overall size and bulk of the minifigure...
