Geranium argus, Eumedonia eumedon, ruskosinisiipi, Finland.
Geranium argus is a small brown butterfly that feeds on cranesbill (Geranium / kurjenpolvi) plants. It is quite common in Finland near forest areas. The long white stripe in the middle of the underwing is a good attribute for identification.

(sur une Salvia Verbenaca)
A lovely little butterfly found in all areas of Australia. A fast flyer, settling frequently to rest and enjoy the sunshine.
The wings are opened and closed frequently to flash the eye-spots - this is thought to frighten potential predators such as birds.
