Instructions to follow, but basically the 'TellyMate' arduino (left in pic) is running Nigel Batten's firmware for the Batsocks TellyMate shield, and not the usual Arduino bootloader, so it has to be flashed into the ATmega chip. If you don't have a programmer (such as USBtinyISP, AVRISP) then this is the tricky bit, but it can be done.

'Jumpers' (Analogue inputs ADC0-ADC5) are set so as to expect serial input at 57600kbps and generate PAL output.

Not shown in the pic, but the TellyMate arduino should have its power jumper set to EXT (not USB).

With a nifty polycarbonate chassis and Sharp IR sensor!

Arduino for triggering the camera. The focus-first-take-a-picture-after sequence is working as it should. Just not the triggering of the actuall camera.

So, this is the Arduino mood cue thing, that you find in the starter set book. You wire up a potentiometer to a servo motor which then swivels the arm around. I'm getting a little bored of just wiring up and coding the things in the book so I decided to build on it and make something of my own.

After installing the Dispatchatron behind the entertainment center and getting all the various alignments and clearances perfect, I realized that the Arduino was not driving my cardboard facade's LEDs brightly enough to be seen during the day. I threw together a couple PNP transistor boosters to reach back and plug in. I ran the red wire off the emitter to plug into my +5v rail, a 10k resistor off the base to plug into the Arduino output, and a snipped-off piece of female header into which I plugged the wire going to the LED.

I've used a font called Eleventh for the copy and the icons. I'm a big fan of this font. The images are printed onto card and spray mounted onto sponge board.
