On our drive down to Panama City Beach we pass through Eufaula on highway 431.
It's odd because the busy highway funnels through this completely out of place area with these great-looking homes. I'm not sure why there is no bypass, but this time we decided to stop and take pictures of some of the wonderful houses along the road.

Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba (Spanish: Mezquita–catedral de Córdoba, Mezquita de Córdoba), also called the Mezquita and the Great Mosque of Córdoba, is now a Catholic Christian cathedral and formerly a medieval Islamic mosque. It is located in the Spanish city of Córdoba, Andalusia.
The Cathedral is regarded as the one of the most accomplished monuments of Renaissance and Moorish architecture. Since the early 2000s (decade), Spanish Muslims have lobbied the Roman Catholic Church to allow them to pray in the cathedral. The Muslim campaign has been rejected on multiple occasions, by both Spanish Catholic authorities, and the Vatican.

A new refectory was built for the monastery by Peter of Montereau in around 1239 - he was later the architect of the Sainte-Chapelle. The abbey church's west end tower was pierced by a portal, completed in the twelfth century, which collapsed in 1604 and was replaced in 1606 by the present classicising portal, by Marcel Le Roy.[1] Its choir, with its apsidal east end, provides an early example of flying buttresses.
