Walking across the Piazza San Marco at night is still an extraordinary experience. There are so many angels to shoot but at the same time it's hard to get all the beauty in one frame.
Parkhaus Rödingsmarkt is a parking garage in Hamburg, Germany, equipped with a double spiral ramp, allowing people to change floors by car. I call it an Urban Spiral Tower. The building is designed by architect Peter Neve.
I was on a walk (as a guest) with the photographer and friend Andreas Mundt.
The Palácio Nacional da Pena is a royal palace in Sintra which was built in a romatic architecture style.
It is famous for it's vibrant colours which makes it look like it is from a fairytale.
Sintra is near Lisbon and can be reached in about an hour from Portugal's capital.

There's about 30 miles of underground walkways connected under Toronto. Some of the walkways, under the PATH system, are partly above ground and called skywalks. All the paths lead to points of interest in downtown Toronto. This one leads to and from Union Station.
Looking up a the ceiling of Igreja de Santa Engrácia (Church of Santa Engrácia) in Alfama, Lisbon, the symmetry is pure and even. Only the light spilling in from outside suggests there are differences in the sides.
The Oudenbosch Basilica is a Roman Catholic basilica in the Dutch village of Oudenbosch. The basilica is named after Agatha of Sicily and Barbara of Nicomedia, two Christian martyrs from the third century. It was built at the initiative of Willem Hellemons who was parish priest between 1842 and 1884. Its nave and interior were modeled after St. Peter's Basilica, while the facade is a replica of the Basilica of St. John Lateran, both located in Rome. The basilica was designed by architect Pierre Cuypers. Construction began in 1865 but was not fully completed until 1892. The basilica is unique in the region in that it is relatively large with a classical Italian appearance that is atypical for most of northern Europe, let alone a small town in North Brabant.
Dutch Papal Zouaves and local Catholics gathered in Oudenbosch and left for Rome in 1868 to defend the Papal State against Giuseppe Garibaldi's Italian nationalist army. Therefore Pope Pius IX agreed to build a relatively big basilica in a small place.[citation needed] Originally a church, it was designated a minor basilica in 1912. A piece of the cloak Pope John Paul II wore during the 1981 assassination attempt is kept there as a relic.
Elements inspired by their counterparts in Rome include Michelangelo's Pietà, Bernini's baldachin, the Chair of Saint Peter, and Bernini's Gloria.
The Missouri State Capitol is the building that houses the legislative and executive branches of the government of the U.S. state of Missouri, as well as the Missouri General Assembly. Located in Jefferson City at 201 West Capitol Avenue, it is the third capitol in the city after the other two were demolished following a fire. The domed building was designed by the New York architectural firm of Tracy and Swartwout and was completed in 1917.
The Capitol's dome, which rises 238 feet (73 m) above ground level and topped by a bronze statue of Ceres the Roman goddess of agriculture, rises above the bluffs of the Missouri River and is the first view of Jefferson City for travelers arriving from the north. In addition to housing the two legislative bodies and the two houses, the Capitol houses offices for the governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, state treasurer, state auditor, and some administrative agencies.

The view from the former capital; Mdina, in the Northern Region of Malta. Not the best light, as this was captured during the heat of the day (over 30 °C) and was the only opportunity I had to take the shot.
Centre top, you can see the Dome at Mosta, which is the third largest unsupported dome in the world. Top right, the national stadium of Malta can be seen.
Came across this one rummaging though a bunch of pictures from my trip to DC last year. It was a great time to view the Cherry Blossoms but the whole National mall was a National construction site. Renovations everywhere with a lot of the monuments being closed or being worked on.
