“Clown” is a piece of digital art created using three iterations of the Double Exposure filter in Nik Analog Efex Pro. It was just a “muck around” image I used to create diagrams/screenshots for the third and final in a series of articles I’m writing on “Multiple Exposures in Photoshop” for the Artists Down Under magazine, but after some applications of textures and some colour grading I liked it enough to post. The original photo is from Midjourney. The three articles will be in the May, June and July issues of the magazine.
We left Melbourne last night for a couple of weeks touring around Tasmania, I will try to stay up to date on Flickr but please accept my apologies if I’m a bit slower than usual, and there’s perhaps a few less comments.

HUD Functions:
-- Eating Speed:
With this option, you can choose between 3 different speeds, which affect the speed between every fries. *Fast* 0 Seconds, *Medium* 10 Seconds, *Slow* 20 Seconds
-- Auto Eating:
-- When you turn this option ON, the avatar will eat the entire Package of Fries, and then, the avatar will throw the package away, and the avatar will resume eating after grabbing a new package from his/her back pocket.
-- When you turn this OFF, the avatar won't eat any fries unless you manually click on the fries in the package.
-- Share with Friends:
-- Your friends can click on the RED part of the package to receive one *INVISIBLE* French Frie that they need to attach, and right after, they need to keep on the yellow part directly on the fries to eat one.
-- Particle FX:
-- In the first 20 fries, they are still HOT and produce a small hot vaper particle effect =).
-- RESET Function: This function will reset the French Fries from any state to a full package.
-- Chris Two Design's HUDs now have a minimized HUD, so please select the * - * Button at the top right Corner to Minimize or the * Square * Button to Maximize the HUD.

The same procedure every year. Two applications are required to fly a drone in Thailand. A kind of driving licence or personal licence from the CAAT and a specific drone licence from the NBTC. Both applications require a lot of paperwork, forms have to be filled out and uploaded, photos with serial numbers, entry documents, an insurance confirmation, a residence address. If all goes well, the application to the CAAT has already been approved before the trip and so the application can be submitted to the NBTC with the entry stamp on the day of arrival. Ideally, processing will take less than half a day and you will then be sent a transfer order. The fee is 224 baht including bank charges. In the end, you have two certificates that allow you to fly a drone legally. I wouldn't do it without the certificates, because if the worst comes to the worst, you are covered, especially in the event of an accident.

This piece was created in response to a call out for submissions for a Batik Guild exhibition on the theme of 'Patterns of Change.'
An artistic response to climate change.
Typically I finished this not far from the deadline and submitted my photo and application for judging.
'This work started with me quite freely making marks, spontaneously playing with the batik process. There arose a playfulness in my thoughts that began to take form in the work being created, like converging energy flows running their own course then uniting as one.
It relates to the theme of patterns of change by acknowledging, with a childlike sense of wonder our need to live harmoniously and at one with nature.'
Glad to say that it's been accepted and will be exhibited alongside the works of other guild members in the gallery of the Naples Botanical Gardens in Florida, USA from May 4th to June 30th 2024 and is part of the International Year of Batik celebrations.

The National Botanic Garden of Wales in the former grounds of Middleton Hall in the River Tywi Valley, Carmarthenshire, Wales
The gardens are both a visitor attraction and a centre for botanical research and conservation and features the world's largest single-span glasshouse.
The Middleton family from Oswestry built a mansion here in the early 17th century. In 1789 Sir William Paxton bought the estate for £40,000 to create a water park. He used his great wealth to employ some of the finest creative minds of his day, including the eminent architect Samuel Pepys Cockerell, whom he commissioned to design and build a new Middleton Hall.
Paxton created an ingenious water park. Water flowed around the estate via a system of interconnecting lakes, ponds and streams linked by a network of dams, water sluices, bridges, and cascades. Spring water was stored in elevated reservoirs that fed into a lead cistern on the mansion’s roof, allowing Paxton’s residence to enjoy piped running water and the very latest luxury, water closets.
In 1931, the mansion was completely gutted by fire, leaving only the walls standing, themselves covered in globules of molten lead from the melted roof. After this the estate fell into decline, and 20 years later the walls of the main house were pulled down. The site was then bought by Carmarthenshire County Council and leased to young farmers hoping to make their way into an agricultural career.
In 1978, interest had been captured by local walkers, who were keen to revive the splendour of what they could see around them. Setting up a fund-raising scheme, the little money raised led to the rediscovery of a number of historical features. The idea for a National Botanic Garden of Wales originated from the Welsh artist, William Wilkins, whose aunt had described to him the ruins of an elaborate water features she had discovered while walking in the local woods at Pont Felin Gat. Under the guidance of the Welsh Historic Gardens Trust, an application was made to the Millennium Commission to fund Britain’s first national botanic garden for 200 years.

Bodyfy is bimontly event (april, june, august, october, december) that regroup designers of different background that will present their creations in one location. The general theme is connected to everything that touches the skin (skin, tattoo, makeup , scarification , henna , piercing , jewelry, body part, mesh head and more.) The style is industrial, alternative, grunge or other similar style. Clothes are not allowed at this event.
This event is for women, men or unisex items. Bodyfy opening on December 8th and ends on Dec 24 th. Each designer will have to create one exclusive item related the theme and it’s not a discount event. We are reaching for high quality items and there is no prices limit.

The Wonder Bread Factory, 356 Fougeron Street, is an industrial bakery built from 1914 to 1915 and designed by architect and engineer Corry B. Comstock. The plant, closed in 2004, is associated with Ward & Ward Incorporated and the Continental Baking Company, maker of iconic American products Wonder Bread and Hostess Cakes. An icon of the Buffalo Belt Line, the Wonder Bread Factory is an excellent example of restrained classicism applied to early twentieth century fireproof factory architecture, embodying what architectural historian Betsy Hunter Bradley identified as an industrial ideal of "beauty based on function, utility, and process."
These exterior photos were submitted to Buffalo's Common Council in June 2018 as part of a local landmarking application.
