Scenes from the late night celebration at the Air and Space Museum on July 20, 2019, the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, and Saturn V projection on the Washington Monument.

Fun with a few toy astronauts celebrating (and recreating) the historic feat of the first Apollo moon landing on July 20, 1969 by Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin.

You never know what will fall out of the sky these days.

I'm entertaining the notion of 3" to 2" to standard 29mm tubing for a 150 scale Saturn V model. Just printing rev 1 right now. I'll update if there are any changes. bit.ly/ycp150saturnv

I'm wearing this pin from July 16-24 in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. #Apollo50th #Apollo11

The fabulous launch of Apollo 11 on its way to the first Moon landing. The entire flame is from the 1st Stage (S1C) that I worked on as an engineer.

Project Apollo

Apollo was NASA's third manned space program, landing humans safely on the moon from 1969 to 1972. The Apollo program set several firsts including sending the first humans beyond low earth orbit, the first humans to orbit the moon, and the first humans to land on the moon.
