A few days after visiting KSC for the 40th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 11, I got to relive the mission via an amazing website: wechoosethemoon.org/, which simulated in real time the mission moments, using animation, video and audio recordings.

Apollo Mission Patches

The Command Module from Apollo 11 moon mission was on display at the Seattle Museum of flight in celebration of the 50 year anniversary. I took Miles and Dane to go see it. Hard to believe that this thing flew all the way to the moon, orbited and then flew all the way back to Earth and splashed down in the ocean.
