Removable stages which can be placed horizontally on stands for display and the lunar module can be detached from its launching pad.
Ironically, the piece count is '1969' which was the year of the first manned lunar landing.
I'll be building a launch tower for that too! ;-)

This sample plastic relief map depicts a portion of the precise lunar topographic model prepared for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. This model is an integral part of a Lunar Module Simulator. The simulator provides crew training and orientation for Apollo Astronauts for scheduled lunar landings and is installed at the John F. Kennedy Space Center, Cape Kennedy Florida. The “lunar surface was prepared by the U.S. Army Topographic Command from Orbiter IV and V photography provided by NASA. The completed model contains over 500,000 craters, measures 22 feet by 14 feet, and weighs approximately 600 pounds.”

ISS020-E-14200 (FOR RELEASE 21 JULY 2009) --- A moon rock brought to Earth by Apollo 11, humans' first landing on the moon in July 1969, is shown as it floats aboard the International Space Station. Part of Earth can be seen through the window. The 3.6 billion year-old lunar sample was flown to the station aboard Space Shuttle mission STS-119 in April 2009 in honor of the July 2009 40th anniversary of the historic first moon landing. The rock, lunar sample 10072, was flown to the station to serve as a symbol of the nation's resolve to continue the exploration of space. It will be returned on shuttle mission STS-128 to be publicly displayed.

The 12 astronauts who walked on the moon between 1969 and 1972 as part of the Apollo Space Program. Can you name more than two?
Between 1969 and 1972, as part of the Apollo space program, 12 men walked on the moon. Interest in the program peaked in July 1969 with the Apollo 11 mission which saw Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin carry out the first first manned lunar landings.
The Apollo moon landings continued until 1972 but there was a dramatic fall off in interest. Few people can name any of the ten other guys who walked on the moon.
The 'forgotten' Armstrong photo...the one that NASA doesn't want you to know about! ;-)
Obviously meant for internal consumption, dissemination, analysis, etc.

“APOLLO TEAM MEMBER
PEGGY HOPKINS
THAT’S ONE SMALL STEP FOR A MAN
ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND
JULY 20, 1969”
A Ms. Hopkins was secretary to at least one of the Apollo/Skylab Astronauts, specifically, Owen Garriott...I also believe, Jim McDivitt. The inscription of a signed photo by McDivitt, is the language I'd expect from circa 1968/69 pertaining to a female in the position of secretary.
