I've kept this article header in my Bloglines roll for four months now.

I just can't stop admiring it.

I like to picture Jimmy Olsen, recently promoted to full-beat reporter wearing a crumpled hat with a press card tucked into the brim. "I'm...looking...forward..." he furiously scribbles in a pad, nodding so as to indicate to Ms. Knowles that she has his full attention, "...to doing...more...film roles."

"Hot diggety," he thinks. He knew he'd win a Pulitzer some day...but so soon?

The pride is short-lived, of course. Five minutes after he files his story, his editor will totally ream him out for not asking "Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy are a couple of real cutups. Were there any hijinx on the set?" like a real journalist. But for the moment, he feels like Woodward, Bernstein, and Ernie Pyle all rolled into one.

Articles like this make me wonder if there isn't some sort of reality show in production, where kids from MTV's "Real World' work for a month as newspaper interns...
