One of the greatest duos in the history of dance and electro music and winners of the highly coveted Grammy award, DEEP DISH, are reunited once more after six arduous years apart, and one of their must-see gigs are happening, by no small chance, on Sunday, 13th July at Dance Arena, Novi Sad, Serbia, right after Miami, Las Vegas, Toronto and Montreal! This house duo is coming to EXIT in an exclusive gig bringing a suite of emminent music names like BETTER LOST THAN STUPID - Davide Squillace vs Martin Buttrich vs Mathias Tanzmann, JAYMO & ANDY GEORGE and WAZE & ODYSSEY!
The Dance Arena of the best European festival presents special back to back gigs, all held in the glory of the 15th edition of EXIT! After the Wild Life night with Disclosure, which is set to occupy the Arena on Thursday, the second day of the festival is set for a party from one of EXIT’s greatest favourite DJs as part of the Carl Cox vs Friends evening programme. The next night is bound to set us ablaze - Saturday Night Fever is brought on by the super-popular Afrojack, only to be topped off on Sunday by the extravagant line-up headlined by DEEP DISH!
If you were there in 2009 you will remember when EXIT was the FIRST festival to put together such a groundbreaking line up of back to back performances. While many a DJ have played b2b before, this feat had not been done at such a massive scale anywhere before. Get ready for round two, with DJs from the past and present! It's going to be one hell of a party!
DEEP DISH, aka Sharam and Dubfire graced us with news about their new track “Quincy”, as well as with the Deep Dish Reunion party in Miami, which just so happens to have been the most anticipated gig at the Winter Music Conference. The Iranian-american duo won over the house scene from the moment they met in the ‘90s. They’ve been awarded the music industry’s hallowed Grammy for their remix of Dido’s “Thank You.” All their past work was merely a precursor that amounted in this quintesential qoute by the Rolling Stone magazine “There’s probably no greater DJ duo than Deep Dish!”
BETTER LOST THAN STUPID, or more promptly known as Squillace-Buttrich-Tanzmann are the freshest heavy-weight collective that sprouted up from the lines of house and techno DJs, and they’ve been playing as this unique back2back2back collective since 2010. As solo performers, these musicians had their hands go through turntables of the world’s top clubs and festivals, while their gigs as Better Lost Than Stupid are almost religiously exclusive and redefine the very definition of a DJ set, especially the way they flirt with “live” gigs, supported by Buttrich’s rich experience with equipment for live electronic gigs and Squillace’s and Tanzmann’s studio wisdom.
Since they met in 2008 Jaymo and Andy George have not only set into motion one of the most attractive British music labels, Moda, but have also thrown parties worldwide, had live gigs on BBC Radio 1, launched the Moda Black label, produced a cover CD for Mixmag, and caught two of the most important residencies in the world: We Love… Space in Ibiza and Fabric in London. Publishing music by renowned artists like Maxxi Soundsystem and Eats Everything, Jaymo and Andy George achieved acclaim by discovering upcoming young talent like Hot Since 82, Mia Dora and Disclosure.
After bonding over hamburgers by the end of 2011, Waze and Odyssey went from an anonymous Soundcloud profile to most exciting electro performers in 12 months. During that turbulent time they released plenty of critically acclaimed singles for Wolf Music, Disco Bloodbath and Throne of Blood; remixed artists like Disclosure and T.E.E.D.; had gigs on all continents and became regulars in shows by Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Skream and Benga; and they got support from numerous club sages - from Ralph Lawson and Starslinger to Duke Dumont and Horse Meat Disco.

EXIT R:Evolution 2013 introduced a five-day festival in Novi Sad, whereas this year we are again introducing something new -- EXIT ADVENTURE, seven days of endless EXIT fun, including EXIT FESTIVAL, which will be held July 10-13, 2014 and SEA DANCE FESTIVAL, held on July 15-17, 2014.
EXIT festival will be held, as usual, at the best festival venue in the world, Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad.
SEA DANCE FESTIVAL will be held next summer at the Montenegro seaside, and alongside the Main Stage at one of the most beautiful beaches of the Adriatic, Jaz Beach located near the historic city of Budva, smaller stages will be set up at Velika Plaža by Ada Bojana, the Old Town in Budva and Kotor.

After the mind-bending X-BASS program headlined by Skrillex, Rudimental, and unbelievable back2back sets at Dance Arena led by Disclosure and Carl Cox, the music wildfire spreads its flames onto the Fusion stage, whose first acts promise the best, freshest, most blazing program ever at the third biggest stage of EXIT festival. Fusion 2014 headliners are the one and only, and our audience's favourite, the ASIAN DUB FOUNDATION (UK), followed closely by the AFGHAN WHIGS (US), MIGHTY OAKS (Germany), TRICOT (Japan), while JAMBINAI (South Korea) join the Riffs&Beats stage. From British dub to Korean ambient metal, over German indie-folk, all the way to cult American sounds, and Japanese alternative rock, the Fusion and Riffs&Beats stages will be blasting with guitars, drums, bass, tambourines, and traditional instruments from America, Europe, and Asia!
Friday, 11th July, is D-day: the British MIDI warriors of the 21st century are coming to Fusion Stage. Asian Dub Foundation have a spicy combination of sounds like jungle rhythms, dub, punk rock guitar, and traditional Indian melodies. During their fruitful and bountiful carrier, ADF shared the hallowed ground of a stage with the likes of Rage Against The Machine, The Cure, and Radiohead. Their summer tour is fueled by their new album “The Signal and Noise”. Their concert is definitely something you don’t want to miss, because when will you again get the chance to see one of the best live bands in the world who are able to make every gig so unique, they entrench it in your head so vividly - they make it look easy.
The cult-status American rock band, The Afghan Whigs, announced their seventh (also comeback) album, “Do to the Beast”, and they’re coming back to alternative rock with a bang. The crew that influenced many followers of this genre presented their very best at the record that’s coming out this spring, heralded by the latest single “Algiers”. They’ll play their dark, brooding rock sound peppered by true american riffs, and lined with unique lyrics that are borderline black humour at the Fusion Stage at EXIT Festival on 10th July.
The German band Mighty Oaks, made up of three guys from three different countries, will perform on Fusion Stage on Sunday, 13th July. What may seem like the beginning of joke, an American, Italian and Briton walk into a bar in the middle of Berlin’s electronic flux, and they end up forming an indie-folk sanctuary where they create unassuming and yet powerful music that caught the eye of the internet community in no time. Their subtle acoustic sound of guitar, mandolin, and tambourine is given depth and texture by electric guitar, bass, and drums, as they create songs about love and nature. They’ve been the opening act for Kings of Leon and Chvrches, and they’ve released “Howl”, their first studio release, about a month ago. “Brother”, the last single on the album became a revered hit in the indie scene.
Who would’ve thought that an ambient metal bend from South Korea would blaze the stages of festivals worldwide in 2014? The completely transcendent post-rock, post-avantgarde sound that Jambinai pushes for is achieved by traditional Korean instruments, supported by electric guitars and electronic instruments. After the great hit of their first album “Difference” the Korean five-member band is announcing their second album, set for May 2014. They will be performing on Riffs & Beats on on 13th July.
On the same date Fusion stage will welcome the Japanese alternative rock group from Kyoto - Tricot. Three chicks and a dude on drums make the band seem like they just came out of a chewing gum commercial. Don’t be fooled. Their experimental sound will blow you away - there’s no way you won’t get the urge to start jumping and dancing with their post-rock rhythms, coupled with unpredictable transitions. It’s as if you’re being punched in the face by a fist made out of strawberries. “T H E”, their debut album, was published in October last year, and they’ve been playing at the most important Japanese music festivals during the past two years, like Fuji Rock and Rock In Japan. They’re about to conquer Europe this summer, so be one of the first who’ll hear them on this side of the globe!

Brace yourselves: EXIT’s biggest adventure is about to take place! After last year's X-Bass Main Stage success, the award winning festival is set to go event further and get even louder!
So crank up your soundsystems, set your amps to max volume and prepare yourselves for a once-in-a-lifetime event that spans two countries and features some of the most exciting names in electronic music. The first of a long list of exciting live acts promising to blow up the EXIT backline are none other than SKRILLEX, RUDIMENTAL, DUB FX and KOVEN!
SKRILLEX is one of the most inspirational figures for the new generation of electronic music fans and is one of the most wanted DJs in the world. With a genre-defying armoury that includes Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites and Bangarang, he’s not only won the audience’s hearts, but also six Grammy awards, including Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronica Album as well as MTV Video Music Award. In July 2012, he reached the top of the Billboard Social chart – with nearly 15 million followers on Facebook, and over 3 million on Twitter. Currently in the midst of planning a brand new live show for summer 2014, Skrillex is guaranteed to rock EXIT festival to pieces with never-seen-before special effects and previously unheard audio. Make no mistakes: Skrillex’s appearance at EXIT is going to go down in festival legend.
RUDIMENTAL also promise to shake the fortress walls down to their very foundations. Breakthrough Act Of The Year in 2013, as voted by more than half of million fans on UK Festival Awards, RUDIMENTAL, have taken the British and European music scene by storm. Bursting out of London’s underground music scene Rudimental are coming to EXIT with their amazing live show. A pioneering melting-pot collective championed for their uncompromising approach to music-making whilst avoiding rigid classification. This act reached number one in the UK Official Charts with their single „Waiting All Night“ in April 2013, beating even Daft Punk to the top spot. Two weeks later, their album Home debuted at number 1 on the UK Albums Chart. No other act stirs a musical melting pot with as much flavour or thunder as Rudimental... And EXIT Festival can’t wait to have them on board!
An addition to the powerful bass lineup comes in the form of Benjamin Stanford, aka DUB FX. Set to performing on Thursday, 10 July, Dub FX has developed a remarkable following through a wholly DIY approach. Everything he does is created with his own voice and serious loop-technology wizardry. His video for "Love Someone", recorded in the streets in 2008, serves as the perfect example of his unquestionable talent. A veritable postmodern messiah, he will present his third studio album "Theory of Harmony" to the EXIT audience. Released only a month ago, it’s a unique manifesto of his philosophy: peace, positivity, joy and healthful pursuits. Something we can all relate to and embrace!
We can also confirm the appearance of white-hot bass-burning duo KOVEN. Creators of one of last year's hottest singles “More Than You”, they will be performing at EXIT's Main Stage on Friday, 11 July. You can expect the full package from these dubstep youngsters, especially their live set all infused with grinding bass combinations and effortless musicality. From the moment of their arrival to the bass scene, they became favorites of many stars, including The Prototypes, Borgore and Hadouken.

Revealed to the world just a few days ago, Wild Life, is a conceptual night presented by Disclosure showcasing performers they love. Featuring alongside DISCLOSURE’s LIVE set, will be exclusive b2b performances including; CARL CRAIG vs. GREEN VELVET, DUSKY vs. PAUL WOOLFORD and JACKMASTER & ONEMAN present 'Can U Dance'!
Playing at EXIT for the first time will be the unstoppable British duo DISCLOSURE, who set new foundations when it comes to electronic music, proving that alternative electronic music can succeed in the commercial music world with no compromise whatsoever. Brothers Guy (22) and Howard (19) Lawrence already have a name to themselves, proven by sold-out performances and chart-topping tracks, as well as a significant change in the British electronic music scene which opens doors to many new underground talents. This year, they released their debut album Settle which has already reached number one at the UK Album Chart, and was also nominated for the Best Album at the Mercury Awards 2013 and Best Dance/Electronica Album at the Grammy Awards 2014. For the upcoming Brit Awards, Disclosure are nominated in four categories: MasterCard British Album of the Year, British Single, British Group, as well as British Breakthrough Act, also announcing a special performance at the awards featuring one of the hottest new names, the New Zealand singer Lorde. They are coming to EXIT Festival with their live set, which is praised as one of the best live performances in the world of electronic music.
Celebrating the 15th Edition in true EXIT style, the iconic Dance Arena will do the second part of their infamous back to back sets revered in 2009 for their 10th Edition. This year sees another selection of DJs performing in battle and it’s going to be another memorable year.
First up is Carl Craig vs Green Velvet. Electronic music visionary and the creative magnate, Carl Craig, owner of the eponymous label Planet E is going to shake the Dance Arena once again, and joined by Green Velvet will be here to elevate partying to the fullest! An eccentric Chicagoan, musician and producer best known for his cyberpunk hairstyles and numerous house music hits, going under the name Green Velvet, is already considered a favorite by Dance Arena’s visitors since his closing of the EXIT festival in 2009 together with Carl Cox. This year, in a special b2b session with Carl Craig, he is ready to pump up EXIT’s Dance Arena!
Next up are Dusky vs. Paul Woolford. The London duo Dusky have proven very productive and imaginative when it comes to writing elegant orchestral grooves and piano themes, as well as creating heavier house and techno rhythms, and this is exactly what defines their genre – composing electronic music with a significant touch of depth, soul and originality. After several joint gigs, a special chemistry arose between them and Paul Woolford, also known as Special Request, a man who built his flourishing career as a DJ, producer, label owner, remixer, collaborator and experimentalist.
And finally introducing Jackmaster & Oneman present 'Can U Dance', a new show being showcased at only a handful of shows this summer, which promises a great party on four turntables! Oneman is a synonym for Rinse FM, a very well known radio station, a brand and a subculture. Jackmaster not only is a co-founder of the highly influential label Numbers, but is also an amazing DJ – he simply lives to play people records, which is enormously felt in his eclectic sets, containing a wide span of music, from forgotten classics to some of the hottest dance floor hits. Together, they will present a concept that surpasses the idea of b2b without great manifesto or conceptual nonsense, no masks or go-go dancers, it's all about what comes out of those speakers.

EXIT R:Evolution 2013 introduced a five-day festival in Novi Sad, whereas this year we are again introducing something new -- EXIT ADVENTURE, seven days of endless EXIT fun, including EXIT FESTIVAL, which will be held July 10-13, 2014 and SEA DANCE FESTIVAL, held on July 15-17, 2014.
EXIT festival will be held, as usual, at the best festival venue in the world, Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad.
SEA DANCE FESTIVAL will be held next summer at the Montenegro seaside, and alongside the Main Stage at one of the most beautiful beaches of the Adriatic, Jaz Beach located near the historic city of Budva, smaller stages will be set up at Velika Plaža by Ada Bojana, the Old Town in Budva and Kotor.
Sales start on December 12, 2013 at noon.
During this promo action, the tickets will be available for a price discounted up to 60%. If you purchase a ticket for EXIT FESTIVAL during this period, you will get a ticket for SEA DANCE FESTIVAL free of charge!

The DANCE ARENA is burning up with exciting back to back sets for EXIT Festival’s 15th edition! Not only will there be a ‘Disclosure Wild Life’ night on Thursday and the incredible Carl Cox vs Friends on the second night of the festival, but Dance Arena will be the host of a true Saturday Night Fever on the festival’s wildest day, Saturday night, 12th July, with AFROJACK VS QUINTINO, MACEO PLEX VS DANNY DAZE, TIGA VS DJ HELL and HEIDI VS KIM ANN FOXMAN! A musical mix, all with one thing in mind, PARTY!
AFROJACK VS. QUINTINO
Afrojack is one of the hottest EDM music maestros, and most influential DJs and producers. At just 26 this young man accomplished a lot! He’s got a Grammy under his belt, and has been in the top 10 best DJs list for three years by DJ Magazine; Forbes tips him as the seventh most paid DJ on the planet, and he’s even dated Paris Hilton! His awesome track “Selecta” brought together the young Dutchman with his country-man Quintino, so their duo set is going to show just who reigns the EDM scene.
MACEO PLEX VS. DANNY DAZE
Two of the hottest dJs of the moment, Maceo Plex and Danny Daze found out they shared the same urge to get people dancing. Maceo Plex’s cuban heritage fits perfectly with the Cuban influences that, along with Italo disco and techno, make up Danny Daze’s sets. This duo collaborated before and pushed tracks under the combo-alias ‘Jupiter Jazz’, and they’re definitely the hottest, most-wanted thing happening in electronic music right now.
TIGA VS. DJ HELL
We promised we'd get exclusive b2b sets at Dance Arena for our 15th EXIT jubilee, but we're going to do one better - our festival will be the place where the divergent come together in confluence; where the electro colossi that never performed and for the first time ever, step together onto the same mix-table. Those colossi are none other than Tiga and DJ Hell! Tiga, the author of monumental hits like "Sunglasses at Night" and "You Gonna Want Me", and our dear friend of the festival and a welcome guest, will go head-to-head with the owner of the International DeeJay Gigolo label and one of the most creative and best german DJs ever - DJ Hell! Hell has a reputation that proceeds him and his first ever performance on the Dance Arena is certainly been hotly anticipated.
HEIDI VS. KIM ANN FOXMAN
We have the highest honour of welcoming two exceptionally irresistible dames this year, who both have an uncanny infatuation with the dance floor and house music - Heidi and Kim Ann Foxman. No stranger to the Dance Arena, Heidi is infectious as she is passionate. To truly feel the insatiable passion Heidi has for music, you need only listen to her show on BBC Radio 1, or just visit one of the many Jackathon parties organised worldwide. If by any chance you’re unable to do that, Dance Arena will be more than happy to oblige. Kim Ann Foxman is better known to some as the ex-member of Hercules & Love Affair, but she’s been devoted 100% to her gigs - from Tokyo to Cologne to Chicago - all the while ranking up her reputation as one of the most interesting house players in the scene. These ladies are going to be delighting us with their performance and this will be one set that will be truly spectacular.

After bonding over hamburgers by the end of 2011, Waze and Odyssey went from an anonymous Soundcloud profile to most exciting electro performers in 12 months. During that turbulent time they released plenty of critically acclaimed singles for Wolf Music, Disco Bloodbath and Throne of Blood; remixed artists like Disclosure and T.E.E.D.; had gigs on all continents and became regulars in shows by Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Skream and Benga; and they got support from numerous club sages - from Ralph Lawson and Starslinger to Duke Dumont and Horse Meat Disco.

Damon Albarn, British musician best known as the frontman of Blur, co-creator of one of the most popular virtual acts in the world, Gorillaz, and an integral part in supergroups such as The Good, the Bad & the Queen and Rocket Juice & the Moon will play EXIT’s Main Stage on Saturday 12th July, as part of a tour to mark the release of his first solo record ‘Everyday Robots’.
Grammy award winner Damon Albarn’s flourishing career, which counts various projects earned him so far five BRIT awards, eleven NME awards, six MTV awards, as well as nine Q awards. He has sold over 30 million records worldwide and his debut album with Gorillaz was sold in excess of 5 million copies worldwide, earning multi-platinum status. In April this year, Damon Albarn will present his first solo project, “Everyday Robots”, his most personal and autobiographical project since his musical journey began.
Damon Albarn will embark on a tour at the end of April starting in London, with further performances in Spain, France, Denmark, USA, The Netherlands and Belgium, and on 12 July, Damon is coming to Serbia!

In March of 2001, I accompanied my good friend Danny P to Europe. He was touring some of his movies on a whirlwind blitz of Germany, Holland, and Belgium. His wife Alison was too large with child to travel with him (she produced Henry later in the summer), so I got to go. As we were doing the indie mad dash, there was very little free time, but on St. Patrick's Day, we found ourselves with some time to kill in Brussels, Belgium.
I'll have to ask Danny how we came upon it, but we had the great good fortune to experience the open air flea market on Rue Blaes.
It was magical. Antique apothecary bottles, displays of French combs, colorful chamberpots, vintage encyclopedias.. when I saw the Dutch "Diabolo Robot" board game, I gasped. Incredibly, it was mine for about 5 bucks.
After I made the purchase and started walking down another aisle, Danny grabbed my arm and muttered "you want another one? then walk away, fast!" He had spied another Dutch robot board game at a different stall. He shooed me away, wisely knowing that the seller would probably up his price if he perceived me to be the collector of Dutch robot board games (which I had, at that very moment, become.) Danny scored "Robot Geeft Het Juiste Antwoord" for me for another five bucks.
The boxes are at left and upper right in the picture. The picture at lower right shows the content of one of the games -- a playing area with questions in the one circle, answers in the second. One positions the robot on the mirror and it points to the right answer!
It was a great trip and a lucky time and the very best flea score ever.
Postscript: This happened at the start of our trip. Not only did I buy the two games, but I also scored a bulky vintage Italian ceramic piece, with lid. With the extra weighty baggage, running for trains became less a joyous "Hard Day's Night" jog and more of something that I will be expected to do in hell when I get there.

Deep Dish, aka Sharam and Dubfire graced us with news about their new track “Quincy”, as well as with the Deep Dish Reunion party in Miami, which just so happens to have been the most anticipated gig at the Winter Music Conference. The Iranian-american duo won over the house scene from the moment they met in the ‘90s. They’ve been awarded the music industry’s hallowed Grammy for their remix of Dido’s “Thank You.” All their past work was merely a precursor that amounted in this quintesential qoute by the Rolling Stone magazine “There’s probably no greater DJ duo than Deep Dish!”

Jackmaster & Oneman started their tour presenting a new concept - Can U Dance, which promises a party to the fullest considering the fact that these DJs perform on four gramophones! Oneman is a synonym for Rinse FM, a very well-known radio station, a brand and a subculture this station represents. Jackmaster not only is a co-founder of a highly influential label Numbers, but also an amazing DJ – he simply lives to play people records, which is enormously felt in his eclectic sets, containing a wide span of music, from forgotten classics to some of the hottest dance floor hits. Last day of the festival, Fusion stage will welcome the Japanese alternative rock group from Kyoto - Tricot. Three chicks and a dude on drums make the band seem like they just came out of a chewing gum commercial. Don’t be fooled. Their experimental sound will blow you away - there’s no way you won’t get the urge to start jumping and dancing with their post-rock rhythms, coupled with unpredictable transitions. It’s as if you’re being punched in the face by a fist made out of strawberries. “T H E”, their debut album, was published in October last year, and they’ve been playing at the most important Japanese music festivals during the past two years, like Fuji Rock and Rock In Japan. They’re about to conquer Europe this summer, so be one of the first who’ll hear them on this side of the globe!

We have the highest honour of welcoming two exceptionally irresistible dames this year, who both have an uncanny infatuation with the dance floor and house music - Heidi and Kim Ann Foxman. No stranger to the Dance Arena, Heidi is infectious as she is passionate.To truly feel the insatiable passion Heidi has for music, you need only listen to her show on BBC Radio 1, or just visit one of the many Jackathon parties organised worldwide. If by any chance you’re unable to do that, Dance Arena will be more than happy to oblige. Kim Ann Foxman is better known to some as the ex-member of Hercules & Love Affair, but she’s been devoted 100% to her gigs - from Tokyo to Cologne to Chicago - all the while ranking up her reputation as one of the most interesting house players in the scene. These ladies are going to be delighting us with their performance and this will be one set that will be truly spectacular.

This dynamic duo are going to set alight the foundations of the fortress. Eats Everything is renowned for his forward thinking underground sets, while also boasting remixes for Jamie Jones, Four Tet, Adam F and having his records played by the likes of Seth Troxler, Skream to Redlight. He was awarded ‘Best British DJ in 2011’ and stands to true form with this accolade. Catherine Britton aka Cassy, the Caribbean-born and British-raised resident of the famous club Panoramabar in Berlin, Cassy has worked so far in her career with huge names such as Luciano, Mathew Jonson, Ricardo Villalobosa and Steve Bug. This is of the most interesting pairings, and will be a sure delight!

Koven is the London-based production alias of producer Max Rowat & vocalist Katie Boyle. Their debut "Wake You Up" EP, released in December 2011 saw support from UKF, Inspector Dubplate, Ministry Of Sound, Radio 1, XFM and many more.
In Febuary 2013 Koven collaborated with Modestep to co-write & produce the track "Take It All". It was featured on Modestep’s debut album "Evolution Theory".
Their first official single "More Than You", released in March 2013 had a fantastic response and charted in most digital stores, and also saw strong support from BBC Radio 1.
Since the debut single Koven have had a successful run of shows over the summer including various festivals across Europe.

Friday, 11th July, is D-day: the British MIDI warriors of the 21st century are coming to Fusion Stage. Asian Dub Foundation have a spicy combination of sounds like jungle rhythms, dub, punk rock guitar, and traditional Indian melodies. During their fruitful and bountiful carrier, ADF shared the hallowed ground of a stage with the likes of Rage Against The Machine, The Cure, and Radiohead. Their summer tour is fueled by their new album ‘The Signal and Noise’. An addition to the powerful bass lineup comes in the form of Benjamin Stanford, aka DUB FX, who will be performing on Thursday 10 July. Dub FX made his recognizable breakthrough with a DIY approach to music, where everything he does is created with his own voice sent through a looping device, and further processed and filtered, resulting in phenomenal background beats for studio and live performances. His video for "Love Someone", recorded in the streets in 2008, only earned him even more recognition, and serves as the perfect example of his unquestionable talent. The Australian musician will present his third studio album "Theory of Harmony" to the EXIT audience. The album was released only a month ago, and serves as a unique manifesto of his conscious philosophy of peace, positivity, joy and healthful pursuits that had been embraced by his fans all over the world.

Bursting out of London’s underground music scene with its thrilling world of pirate radio, crude DJ set ups, improvised studios, and bleeding edge beats come RUDIMENTAL (Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and Leon Rolle): A pioneering melting-pot collective who have taken the British music scene by storm, championed for their uncompromising approach to music-making whilst avoiding rigid classification. This act reached the top of the UK Top Chart with Waiting All Night in April 2013, leaving behind Daft Punk and Justin Bieber. Two weeks later, their album Home debuted at number 1 on the UK Albums Chart. Wildlife’s guests for the night will include the b2b set Dusky vs Paul Woolford. The London duo Dusky have proven very productive and imaginative when it comes to writing elegant orchestral grooves and piano themes, as well as creating heavier house and techno rhythms, and this is exactly what defines their genre – composing electronic music with a significant touch of depth, soul and originality. After several joint gigs, a special chemistry arose between them and Paul Woolford, also known as Special Request, a man who built his flourishing career as a DJ, producer, label owner, remixer, collaborator and experimentalist.

Better Lost than Stupid, or more promptly known as Squillace-Buttrich-Tanzmann are the freshest heavy-weight collective that sprouted up from the lines of house and techno DJs, and they’ve been playing as this unique back2back2back collective since 2010. As solo performers, these musicians had their hands go through turntables of the world’s top clubs and festivals, while their gigs as Better Lost Than Stupid are almost religiously exclusive and redefine the very definition of a DJ set, especially the way they flirt with “live” gigs, supported by Buttrich’s rich experience with equipment for live electronic gigs and Squillace’s and Tanzmann’s studio wisdom.

Another EXIT first will be the unstoppable British duo DISCLOSURE, who set new foundations when it comes to electronic music, proving that alternative electronic music can succeed in the commercial music world with no compromise whatsoever. Brothers Guy (22) and Howard (19) Lawrence already have a name to themselves, proven by sold-out performances and chart-topping tracks, as well as a significant change in the British electronic music scene which opens doors to many new underground talents. This year, they released their debut album Settle which has already reached number one at the UK Album Chart, and was also nominated for the Best Album at the Mercury Awards 2013 and Best Dance/Electronica Album at the Grammy Awards 2014. They are coming to EXIT Festival with their live set, which is praised as one of the best live performances in the world of electronic music.

The German band Mighty Oaks, made up of three guys from three different countries, will perform on Fusion Stage on Sunday, 13th July. What may seem like the beginning of joke, an American, Italian and Briton walk into a bar in the middle of Berlin’s electronic flux, and they end up forming an indie-folk sanctuary where they create unassuming and yet powerful music that caught the eye of the internet community in no time. Their subtle acoustic sound of guitar, mandolin, and tambourine is given depth and texture by electric guitar, bass, and drums, as they create songs about love and nature. They’ve been the opening act for Kings of Leon and Chvrches, and they’ve released “Howl”, their first studio release, about a month ago. “Brother”, the last single on the album became a revered hit in the indie scene.

EXIT R:Evolution 2013 introduced a five-day festival in Novi Sad, whereas this year we are again introducing something new -- EXIT ADVENTURE, seven days of endless EXIT fun, including EXIT FESTIVAL, which will be held July 10-13, 2014 and SEA DANCE FESTIVAL, held on July 15-17, 2014.
EXIT festival will be held, as usual, at the best festival venue in the world, Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad.
SEA DANCE FESTIVAL will be held next summer at the Montenegro seaside, and alongside the Main Stage at one of the most beautiful beaches of the Adriatic, Jaz Beach located near the historic city of Budva, smaller stages will be set up at Velika Plaža by Ada Bojana, the Old Town in Budva and Kotor.
Sales start on December 12, 2013 at noon.
During this promo action, the tickets will be available for a price discounted up to 60%. If you purchase a ticket for EXIT FESTIVAL during this period, you will get a ticket for SEA DANCE FESTIVAL free of charge!

Dance Arena / Saturday, 12 July
We promised we'd get exclusive b2b sets at Dance Arena for our 15th EXIT jubilee, but we're going to do one better - our festival will be the place where the divergent come together in confluence; where the electro colossi that never performed and for the first time ever, step together onto the same mix-table. Those colossi are none other than Tiga and DJ Hell! Tiga, the author of monumental hits like "Sunglasses at Night" and "You Gonna Want Me", and our dear friend of the festival and a welcome guest, will go head-to-head with the owner of the International DeeJay Gigolo label and one of the most creative and best german DJs ever - DJ Hell! Hell has a reputation that proceeds him and his first ever performance on the Dance Arena is certainly been hotly anticipated.

Who would’ve thought that an ambient metal bend from South Korea would blaze the stages of festivals worldwide in 2014? The completely transcendent post-rock, post-avantgarde sound that Jambinai pushes for is achieved by traditional Korean instruments, supported by electric guitars and electronic instruments. After the great hit of their first album “Difference” the Korean five-member band is announcing their second album, set for May 2014. They will be performing on Riffs & Beats on 13th July.

I know you like roaming through second hand shops, Craig's list etc to find items you can't find everywhere. So do I, even if I try to stay away from those places now. I have enough stuff. Almost anyway. But here's what I want you to
ANSWER ME: What's your best flee market (or similar) buy?
For me, it has to be this table. I was buying another table, really crappy, and the salesman threw this in on the deal. I hadn't even dared to ask the price on this - but luckily he thought it was really ugly and that he was smart by getting rid of it instead of having to drive it to the dumpster. Oh you stupid, stupid man! I adore you! Me - I love this piece of furniture! I love the oak and the little shelves on each sides, perfect to put your book after reading. I love the Bauhaus, functionalistic design, the curved "legs". I would think it's from the 1930's - maybe 40's - and it's mine - and I got it for nothing (even if I had to pay $39 for the other junk table :-))
