A quick picture just before going out to The Palace in Bristol for a fun night of dancing and laughter. This is my new polka dot dress from Wallis and my new summer shoes from New Look. OK, so I can't wear super high heels any more, but 3 inch heels are just right for dancing aren't they?? I did manage to last the night in them and also the walk home!

There is a trend on other social media for posting black and white photos of yourself. Many of them look great. I am not sure if a black and white photo adds something or takes something away from the colour original but it is certainly different.

So I thought I would find a photo I have not posted before and make a black and white image. Do you like it? Or do you prefer colour pics If you do like it, I may find some more original pictures and post in black and white. It will certainly make up for the lack of new pictures thanks to this lockdown.

So 2020 is coming to an end and like most people, it can be a time for reflection:

Although I have known that I was trans since I was a little child, I only started going out into the big wide world exactly 10 years ago this week.

This picture is from that first night out. I have nver published it before as it is not a great quality. However it is a record of a moment that changed my life. I met like-minded people who were great fun to be with. We went to a bar where the landlord was lovely to us and we drank and danced the night away until about 4am as if there was no tomorrow. Unfortunately there was a tomorrow and a felt rotten the next day at work! :-)

But that night showed me something different, something exciting and something which seemed very natural, It changed my life! I now wished I had done it earlier in my life.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy and safe New Year. Let's all hope that 2021 is a better year and brings an end to this pandemic. I hope that I can post some more current photos next year as well!

Me empolguei no final de semana gente.. kkkkkk gastei mais de uma hora pra fazer pintinha por pintinha... deu até tremedeira na mão kkkkkkk

Deu um plim assim nas idéias e pensei.. acho que vai ficar legal... e me joguei com fervor kkkkkkk

Usei o meu amado 36 da Tango (preciso de outro urgeeente e não acho mais pra comprar, snif snif snif) e desta vez eu consegui uma ótima cobertura (como podem ver) com apenas UMA CAMADA!!!

Sim, isto mesmo, um esmalte branco corretivo que cobre com uma camada.

Eu já desconfiava que ficaria bom se eu caprichasse na quantidade de esmalte no pincel... mas sempre pintei com duas camadas, mas agora resolvi testar com mais esmalte e ficou perfeito com uma camadinha só gente.... eu to até emocionada kkkkkk

Pras pintinhas usei o Rosa Chiclete e o Preto Fosco (te amooo seu lindo)

E, sinceramente, estou orgulhosa de mim mesma por essa nail art viu.... tanto pela art em si, qto pelo colorido e chamativo que ficou... ultimamente tenho usado coisinhas mais clássicas, ando meio baixo astral, mas sei lá... de repente deu vontade de abusar e fiquei feliz com o resultado.... inshallah essa fase dure né? rsrs

This was a fabulous summer's evening at my friend Wendy's house. We just sat on the patio and had some food and drink and laughed and chatted all evening. Wendy and Angela look gorgeous as well don't they?

A fabulous weekend in Manchester.

. . . but that doesn't mean I don't like to dress up now and then

I really like this floral pattern dress, it is very pretty and lovely to wear. When I started going out, I thought I wasn't really a dress person, but I now own a wardrobe full of them!

I love wearing dresses. I love the patterns and colours and the different styles and materials. They also make you feel very feminine!

What is your favourite thing to wear?

. . . I dared to wear this in public.

Would I do it again? Not sure if this would be appropriate for a woman in her 70s :)
