I had the pleasure of meeting up with these two lovely ladies just before Christmas and partying for a couple of days. Alison and Helen are both amazing company and we had a fabulous couple of days. Anyone else fancy joining us for a party next time? xx

Another Chrismas trip to Birmingham and another fabulous Christmas party with the lovely ladies from Outskirts.

Well with lots of time on my hands and no opportunity to get glammed up and meet my friends, I have been looking back over some old photographs and came across this one which has never seen the light of day before.

I had just bought this dress for the Outskirts Christmas party

and wanted to try it on with some accessories that my best friend Angela had so I popped round to her house. While I was there, her daughter asked to try some makeup ideas out on me. This is the end result. It's always fabulous to see someone else's makeup interpretation and I think she did an amazing job. What do you think?

Turtle Bay is great! Just opposite the Hippodrome in Bristol and Happy Hour on cocktails as well as some delicious Caribbean food. Do you like it spicy? :-)

With all this Coronavirus lockdown, there are no chances to glam up and get out with friends. So I have had a stroll through some previous outings and found this lovely picture of my fabulous friends Claire and Yjselle and me at last years Outskirts Christmas party. The title is a bit of a play on words.

I haven't been around for a couple of months because I seriously hurt my back which left me almost unable to walk. 8 weeks later I felt well enough to go out for a lovely catch-up with friends. This gave me an opportunity to wear my new midi dress from Wallis and a new biker jacket which I may post a picture of later.

So it was lovely to be back out, rather than staying at home with my back out. See what I did there? :-)

My new favourite dress! It is pink with a lace top and a gorgeous pleated skirt. It is gorgeous to wear and so pretty and feminine, I love it! Now you can see why my nails were a light pink in the previous picture - they were to match this dress. It's a bit too special for a normal Saturday night out - any ideas where I could or should wear this beautiful dress?

I love going up to Birmingham every year for the Outskirts Christmas party. My friend Helen and I share an apartment and make a good couple of days of it. We had great fun out partying and shopping and lunching!

I am wearing a new floral dress and pink cashmere bolero. I loved this look and made a few changes to my makeup, I hope they meet your approval? Also do you like the nail varnish?

I love this Norr dress, feels great to wear and animal prints I love too :).
