La Piscine, ou Musée d'art et d'industrie André-Diligent, présente des collections composites d'arts appliqués et de beaux-arts constituées à partir du 19e siècle comprenant des tissus, des pièces d'arts décoratifs, des sculptures, des peintures, des céramiques et des dessins.
Ancienne piscine de style Art déco, construite entre 1927 et 1932 par l'architecte lillois Albert Baert.
La reconversion de la piscine a été validée (1992-94) sous l'un des mandats de maire d'André Diligent.

Märchenwelt
Großmutter nahm das Buch zur Hand
und ihre Stimme, warm und klar
entführte uns in eine Welt
die fremd und voller Zauber war.
Wir flogen mit den sieben Raben
und standen vor dem Knusperhaus,
dann folgten wir dem kleinen Muck
in die weite Welt hinaus.
Wir kamen ins Schlaraffenland
wo Milch und süßer Honig fließt
und spürten wie die Erde bebt
wenn unverhofft ein Riese niest.
Wir hatten Angst um das Schneewittchen
als es die Apfelhälfte nahm
und freuten uns mit Aschenputtel,
als diese ihren Prinz bekam.
Auch nachts als wir schon lange schliefen,
nahm eine Fee uns an die Hand
und führte uns in unsren Träumen
ins zauberhafte Märchenland.

Eve was in the mood for a milk bath shoot. Everything was going well until she got in the tub and we noticed her dress colors started running. Instead of having nice white milk, we had something like an orange creamcicle. What a mess. We had a good laugh and kept going. What an experience! I took these photos in November 2021.
