I can see from the reaction to my first Easter work in this series I am going to be doing some serious catching up when it is done! Thank you all in the meantime, for all your wonderful support.
This is the second work I am showing for my Easter Series for 2023. This one is something to reflect upon in that in-between time when uncertainty can prey on your mind, before Easter Sunday brings an outpouring of joy.
And this image was again taken in Ocklynge Cemetery in Eastbourne, East Sussex, UK.
I have paired this work with ‘If God Will Send His Angels’ by U2, because it was perfect.

Yeee! I'm back!
This is an outfit I put together back in March for the Fantasy Angels company but I wanted to refresh it a little. You know, give it some 'zazz!

Cold Shoulder in both meanings of the expression. These two sculptures have their backs turned giving each other the cold shoulder while the angel has a mantle of snow covering her shoulders and along her arm.
This is one of several angels which are the symbols of the Christmas market at Ludwigsburg. They are huge and as their wings are illuminated they look spectacular at night but they are also quite impressive in daylight.

Feather and Angel went on a stroll,
Across the meadows, where the wildflowers grow.
Their souls entwined, like a dance of light,

A symphony of nature, in harmonious prose.
Feather, with grace, painted the sky with her touch,

Angel, with love, caressed the flowers with care,
Breathing life into petals, painting colors rare.
They wandered through forests, where silence spoke,
Where ancient trees whispered, and memories awoke.
Feather shimmered in sunlight, her feathers aglow,
Angel embraced the moonlight, her radiance with a gentle glow.
Together they danced, among the falling leaves,
Their laughter echoing, as autumn weaves.
A tapestry of moments, stitched with joy and delight,
In this timeless stroll, they found solace, day and night.
Feather and Angel, a union of spirit and flight,
A celestial connection, like stars in the night.
In this realm of magic, they found their home,
A sanctuary of love, where their hearts could roam.
As the sun bid farewell, painting the sky in gold,
Feather and Angel knew, their story would unfold.
With every step they took, they discovered their truth,
That love knows no boundaries, eternal and uncouth.
So, they continued their stroll, hand in hand,
Exploring the wonders of this enchanted land.
Feather and Angel, forever intertwined,
A love story written in the winds, a tale unconfined.
I may just get myself a few of these for my eventual (but not imminent) departure from this space time continuum / parallel universe.
Come to think of it there may be a dimension wherein I am effin’ loaded and carry a gold plated Leica sporting f0.95 Noctilux glass.
Of course there’d also be a discreet bodyguard or two to help me hang on to said German exotica, guiding me safely to my Bentley convertible.
Now then does anyone have directions to to the nearest wormhole in space?
Diesen wunderschönen Engel haben wir vor Jahren auf einem Weihnachtsmarkt erstanden. Als unser "Schutzengel" hat er einen Ehrenplatz im Wohnzimmer, und wacht das ganze Jahr über unser Wohl.
This beautiful angel we bought years ago at a Christmas market. As our "guardian angel", it has a special place in the living room, and watches our welfare throughout the whole year.
