Not as in "pitch-dark", it's still sunset time, the pink hour before the blue hour. We're simply standing on 'The Pitch', a former cricket ground now used for football and the noble sport of dog walking.
... today I enjoyed a box folding hour with Sami - after folding he started combining objects ... Great!

Mark Sherry created an Android app for Embargo!
This is version 0.8. Consider it an open playable beta. Two players can play by passing the phone back and forth. Hit the 'back' button to undo your last move. It undoes one move only. Features like online multiplayer or vs AI will have to wait for a later version.

Mark is a great guy. You bring up a rough game idea to him, he comes back 20 minutes later with a freakin' probabilities spreadsheet. This is stuff he does for fun! Fun, people! Mark. Awesome.
An image of an advertisement in the Sun Newspaper for Android phones sold by Carphone Warehouse here in the UK.
Underneath is a section which lists 10 apps that "you need to get through the day". 8 are free, 1 is £1, and the last one did not even seem to be listed when I searched. "Where's The Train", the only non-free app, is listed as having "100 - 500 downloads"
This is very typical of my experience with the Android Market. Unless your business model can support free applications, with your revenue coming from advertising, a website or service you sell, then you are unlikely to be able to recoup the time spent developing quality applications.

Why is the camera icon shown as DSLR? Why is it then trying to find a lens as if my camera is a DSLR? An additional mystery is that on the website, the camera icon is shown as a Polaroid camera! (My camera is a point-and-shoot.)
