Brisk walk with 'Retro Camera' on my phone.
Tower Hill is not the nearest tube station to my friends' office, but I chose the inconvenience for the excuse to zap a few kitsch shots of this iconic bridge with different virtual 'cameras' from the app. (I've never done it with a 'proper' camera all these years...)

Very instagram like ... (details here).
Being a long-term Flickr user, this does look pretty good, but I'm still not sure how it'll match the community nature of Instagram. That said, it's movement from Yahoo and Flickr which is good to see!

One thing that puzzles me about Google is the fact that Google seems to respect iOS users more that they do people who use Android. Case in point, the new YouTube app for iOS versus the one I have preloaded on my Nexus 7.
The YouTube app on my Nexus 7 is loaded with ads, while the iOS version is not. And what's more, the design is much more elegant on my iPad. And taking these screen shots above illustrate another functional issue that I have with Android as a whole. It's a pain in the ass to take screen shots! To do it, you must press the power button while simultaneously pressing the lower tab on the volume button. As you can see from the screen shot in the top left hand corner, I inadvertently lowered the volume right before taking this screen shot. That happens almost every time. Either I lower the volume or I power off the Nexus completely.
It's little details like this that annoy the hell out of people who appreciate good design and quality and why we can never be satisfied with the Googles or Microsofts of this world.

This is the first Android app I've ever bought. Seems to work well with the bluetooth OBD2 dongle, but I still haven't taken the car for a spin.
