I see this quite often along my walks to/from my office, though mostly with cinched filled baggies. The fine for public urination must be more than littering, though with the baggies and this bottle, it should be a double penalty

--

In New York City, public urination is a civil offense, not a criminal offense, and is covered by Section 16-118 of the Administrative Code. First-time offenders can receive a fine of up to $75, with subsequent offenses within 12 months resulting in fines of $250–$350 for a second offense and $350–$450 for a third offense. Offenders will receive a civil ticket instead of a criminal summons and will not have a criminal record if found guilty. Administrative courts may also require offenders to perform community service.

Founding and early history

Paul Van Doren, his brother James, and Gordon C. Lee opened the first Vans store as "The Van Doren Rubber Company" on March 16, 1966, at 704 East Broadway in Anaheim, California. The business manufactured shoes and sold them directly to the public. Upon opening, twelve customers purchased Vans deck shoes (now called "Authentic"), similar to those manufactured by Keds but with a thicker sole. The store had display models of three styles of shoes, priced between US$2.49 and $4.99, but did not have any inventory ready to sell and Paul Van Doren did not have change to give customers; customers took their shoes home and came back the next day to pay.

Middle history

The original Vans skateboard logo was designed in Costa Mesa, California, in the 1970s by Mark Van Doren, son of then-President and co-owner James Van Doren, at age 13; Mark's design was a stencil, allowing the logo to be spray-painted onto his skateboards. The design was incorporated into the heel tab on Style 95, an early Vans skateboard shoe. Mark's interest in skateboarding is what led Vans to manufacture skateboarding shoes.

My hunch paid off as this structure was completely torn down. I've been photographing the back of the building, as the front faces a police station, and not many people understand why I photograph construction. Several times I've been asked if I was an insurance surveyor. That one makes sense, as many times I'm dressed from work. No, just a hobbyist photographer. Essentially it's my documenting the pre/post gentrification of my neighborhood

Carmel Place is New York’s first micro-unit building. This nine-story residence is the product of a 2012 design competition intended to introduce additional choices within New York’s housing market to accommodate the city’s rapidly growing population. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group collaborated with Monadnock Development on a proposal for the city’s first micro-unit apartment building, originally called “My Micro NY”, and turned out to be the winning proposal selected by the Bloomberg administration.

Each studio residence has been pre-fabricated in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, and assembled on site. The efficiently designed studios include over nine foot ceiling heights, floor-to-ceiling windows, Juliette balconies, and ample storage. Tasteful finishes are complimented by Italian cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and Hansgrohe fixtures.

Without seeing a word, people around the world immediately recognize the apple, the swoosh and the golden arches. That's exactly what designers had in mind when they created the octagon for Chase Manhattan Bank nearly 60 years ago.

The previous design featured an outline of the United States, an inset of the globe and the phrases "Chase Manhattan Bank," "Worldwide Banking," and, take a breath, "Chartered in 1799."

Design firm Chermayeff & Geismar Associates presented eight symbols, including a sleek octagon they called "a simple yet powerful geometric form embodying a strong feeling of motion and activity."

Welp, as it presently stands my neuropathy may never completely dissipate back to the baseline. Alas, I wasn't expecting this answer. Not the end of the 🌎🌍 but kind of disappointing. As that answer is not yet cut in stone, we're going to counteract it with every possible option.....

Will begin researching physical therapists and continue my daily stretching exercises and will also begin taking short daily walks around my neighborhood

This Friday, December 12th I have a consultation with Access-A-Ride, so that's another option. Typically, I prefer to have several irons in the fire at once.
